Would form running help with sprinting a bit faster just by fixing the mechanics? Form running ex high knees, a skips, marches, prime times, etc
I self train myself for 1 year watching youtube videos to improve my 100m time from 13.4 to 12.6 in. After that I trained for another 6 month to improve from 12.6 to 12.45 and it seems like I can’t get any faster. I need to at least reach 11.99 to get to state champ. Any tips?
What state are you in where 11.99 is state championships? You mean 10.99?
@@justjumari owh sorry, I didn’t mean that I wanted to go to state champ, I just wanted to become faster than my friends and ran sub 12 as a 16 year old this year. That would be cool.
Which Olympic sprinters has Joel Smith coached?
He’s worked with a lot of Olympic guys just google him for yourself
@@justjumari I did google him but did not find any Olympic sprinters he's worked with. He's worked with more swimmers than sprinters.
I’m 150 lbs at 5’6 at 13 I think it’s hurting my athleticism but I need ur advice do u think I should focus on my athleticism more or should I focus on weight loss more (I’m going to do both but which should I prioritize
Athleticism for sure. A very aggressive weight loss diet won’t allow proper recovery resulting in worse results and even injury

ur way to young to focus on weight loss
just do ur athletic training and eat plenty of protein and whole foods

Your body fat, your body sheipe and you long tendon of Aquiles, if you don't have anithing this, Ever week will be hard to work.
You don’t really need to worry about it if it’s not something in your mind. It holds back people from starting for no reason
