    Thank you so much for your videos. You have helped me so.much. don't laugh I'm a 70 year old 50 and 100-meter sprinter. When I first started I ran a 14 sec 100. I progressed to 13.5. Probably don't have more in me but still trying. Will be entering the senior games next year. Thank you Coach .

      It is amazing that at that age you run that fast. Most people at 70 y.o. cant even walk without help

      Your dedication and progress are truly inspiring! I believe it's more impressive to be sprinting at 70 than at 20. Keep pushing your limits; who knows what milestones you'll achieve next. Best of luck at the senior games, and remember, talent and age is the floor, character is the ceiling. Keep us updated and thank you for your kind words.

      Sprinting helps slow down telomere shortening in your DNA. Essentially helping you live longer. I’m 43 and have been a sprinter on and off since my teens and now middle distance. Keep going hard mate, it’s awesome what you’re doing 👊

    This is great! Thank you for this useful insight. I used to be a wide receiver and Jack Elway already taught me to push off the front leg and lift the back. I was fast, running 100 meters in 10.27 seconds when I was 17. Then I stopped sprinting and forgot nearly everything since. Now back in bussiness at 50 years and training for the world masters 2024. I believe this video will help me a lot to get my speed back….of course, age adjusted 😊 Thank you coach!

      @OutperformOfficial  8 місяців тому +3

      Very welcome! With a previous 100 meters time of 10.27 you've got a solid foundation to build upon. Re-engaging with sprinting at 50 presents its unique challenges, but also a remarkable opportunity.
      We did a video on the history of Sub-10 sprinting and one of the best stories was learning about Kim Collins and how he ran his fastest 100m when he was past 40. Best of luck reigniting that sprinting spark and chasing down those goals!

      Thank you so much for your motivation 🙏😃 I just re-started 6 weeks ago and it’s been tough. My speed is still OK past 20-30 meters, but I’m struggling with the first 10-20m. Will keep working on getting back to speed and will use all of your awesome videos to get there 🙏💪

    This makes sense. Wish someone had coached this to me when I ran high school track 50 years ago. I'm going to try this on my next sprint drills. Yes, I still run track; the only differences are no cinders anywhere on the circuit, and meters have replaced yards.
