Unless Disney intended for Strange World to flop at the box office, then the film absolutely did something wrong. Instead of pointing the finger at the audience, Disney should turn its critical gaze at the director, producers, studio executives and anyone else whose decisions led to this disaster.
Honestly just didn't give me enough to work with to want to go see it. Nothing wrong with a gay character, I'm not shallow like that. It just had little to nothing with the trailer
The trailer did not really have a hook. it was generic exploring to save the world but they don't even let you know what the plot is. Usually trailers tell you too much but this one tells to little. Not a good sign for opening weekend
Piracy is a big issue in the modern world for movies and production companies, it is undeniable. This is why I feel big films that deserve to be seen on the big screen, such as Top Gun Maverick and Avatar 2 have had big box office

I agree with that. I think a gay character instantly means unsuccess. It was the marketing, the lack of originality (despite its concept)

As a young father of two , I will not watch anymore woke Disney movies. Those are just not my values.
