Im a manger at a theater where we only have a few locations. Your video is absolutely true besides the ads part, at least for us. We make our money strictly off concessions, we charge 15 dollars a ticket and that's tax included. We make $1.23 per ticket sold. Thank you for your insight because I'll be looking into increasing our ad revenue.

Do you rent the items that make the concessions? How much is it for popcorn or a soda? Apologies, I'm really curious with this.

From what I've seen, movie theaters need to pay their onsite workers more, ushers, cashiers, and concession workers.

As a long time theater worker, I can tell you that about half of this was completely wrong

one question: are cinemas audited by the studios? because how do they know how many tickets they really sold? the venue has a huge incentive to undereport ticket sales if they end up giving most of it to the studios....

So the sound effects weren't the best thing? Just less of them or different sounds altogether?

@@boxofficebrit sound effects are important and can be used liberally as long as they arent vying for your attention, the ones here are a bit loud mostly. My idea of it is that as long as you could watch the video and never become distracted by it it's good.

@@pillowtalk__ thank you so much for the feedback. It was my first time creating a video such as this and I'll try and take that advice on for next time. Other than that, I hope you like the video and my other content. Thanks Joe
