    Any game where the two major stats being tracked are "friendship" and "pie" is all right in my book. By amazing coincidence, those are exactly the two stats I track in my day to day life!

      Glad I could help you find a game that fits into both your social life and diet! I suggest not eating the pie included with the game though, as it may cause indigestion.

    You said that you can't take the same action your next turn, but are you able to come back around to it and take it on your third turn? Let's say I take the move action on my first turn, and on my second, I take the seek action. Am I then able to take the move action again on my third turn?

  • @DarrenCarroll72
    @DarrenCarroll72 6 років тому

    Loving the game with my kids. Quick question if anyone knows the answer? You're only allowed to place a trophy once per turn, but what happens when during a turn you could have potentially placed two or even three trophies? Do you automatically place one during your next turn? Please help! This happens quite a lot in the game!

    • @WatchItPlayed
      @WatchItPlayed  6 років тому

      During your next turn, when you would be able to place another trophy, you place one. Basically, if you’ve met the criteria for a trophy and you haven’t yet earned a trophy on your turn, you must place a trophy token.
      Hope that helps!

  • @toweypat
    @toweypat 6 років тому

    If you're eligible for a trophy but your friendship is low, when it gets back up again do you get your trophy right then? Or do you have to earn it again?

    • @WatchItPlayed
      @WatchItPlayed  6 років тому

      Assuming at that time you still have the requirements, you earn it right away. This is true for most things, but not all. For example, if you go above 2 in friendship and still have 8 or more pies, you can claim that. On the other hand, you can't deliver 4 gems while you have 2 or fewer friendship, and then 'claim' the trophy after you get to 3 friendship again. You'd have to be at 3 or higher and then deliver the goods. Make sense?

    • @hobychou
      @hobychou 6 років тому +1

      Patrick, once your friendship is back up to 3 or higher, you can get the trophy if you still meet its conditions. Certain trophies, like deliveries or pie fights, would have to be re-earned since their requirements can't be "held over" until your friendship is back up.

  • @killab6420
    @killab6420 6 років тому

    Quick question. If two characters are sent back to the home base on the same turn only one is rejuvenated, but can I choose to keep a character on the home space to be rejuvenated on the next turn? Seems like the answer is no since I could just keep a character at home to keep earning pies or spells, but can you clarify? Thanks!

    • @WatchItPlayed
      @WatchItPlayed  6 років тому

      You can only be rejuvenated after losing a battle, so staying at your home base during the next turn will not trigger the rejuvenating effect again.

  • @boardgamequeens
    @boardgamequeens 6 років тому

    So just so I’m clear after a pie fight you just lower your pie count by the dial number and not the sum of the dial and the magic spell card, if used?

  • @johnathankarch4484
    @johnathankarch4484 6 років тому

    So... I've see this both ways. Your pie fight dials had something holding them together. My game doesn't have that. What should I use?

    • @WatchItPlayed
      @WatchItPlayed  6 років тому +1

      They are little plastic clips that come in the box. Did you maybe throw them out accidentally? I’d contact the publisher about seeing if you can get a replacement.

    I believe you can never go above 7 Pie’s in a fight but let me ask as it isn’t specified. If I have 6 Pie’s on the chart and a 3 Magic Spell can I then throw 9? I believe 7 is the highest you can go (total) but I want to be sure.

    • @WatchItPlayed
      @WatchItPlayed  6 років тому

      Seven is the highest you can set on your dial, but cards can cause your total to go beyond that (so you're example above, 6 pies + 3 magic, would be allowed).

    I think the box says for Ages 8 and up. I was wondering who has played it with their 6-8-year-olds, and was it confusing to them or did they do fine keeping track of all of the rules/gameplay? I really like this adaptation but, I'm going to be honest, I think this is a little much for a "My Little" version of Scythe. Yes there is slightly less to do and less units to control, but Scythe (though wonderful) has the most things to do possible, so "less" is relative." And the change to "if you're friendship is too low you can't gain trophies" seems really silly for a kids game.
