I have a Rhino crawler motor that is very similar to yours, that I have never tried yet. If it's sounds anything like that one when I hook it up, I will throw it right in the trash immediately. It appears your noise was always coming from your motor. that's too bad because you changed the tranny 3 times because of it. I guess we all learn by watching as well as doing.
