I really enjoyed the review, gave me a good insight into the bike. I have decided to get one early next year, despite having to take a negative equity hit on my current versys 1000.
Vegan, for launch control activation, simply hold the start button down while bike is running to activate. The TFT will display you 3 ranges, 4000rpm, 6000rpm & 8000rpm. Select which one you want and it's ready. However, use it within 10 seconds or so because the feature will time out if not used in said 10 sec window duration.
Nice take on the Gen 3 busa. 100% my dream bike but insurance says NOPE in London. Noone will insure me 😂. Great quality as well. What camera your using ? Seems very punchy
Cheers mate, yes it's an amazing machine, although i'd be very wary of owning one in London. It would only be a matter of time before someone tries to take it! Camera is a GoPro 10 with a generic microphone. 👍🏻
The Gen 1 Hayabusa is the lightest of the three models ! That is the sportiest proof. 😊Gen 1: 244 kg (equipment weight) / 175 hp 😉Gen 2: 266 kg (equipment weight) / 197 hp 😁Gen 3: 264 kg (equipment weight) / 188 hp
From memory it was averaging about 38mpg according to the trip computer, bearing in mind the bike had only done a few 100 miles and I didn't take it easy in places, I'd say that was pretty good actually.
@@ukveganbikers Barry Louth, it's "shitty" lol. I own one, im about 1000miles now on it and it doesn't get any better, even with your wrist out of the throttle, aftermarket full akra, sprint filter etc. They just weren't made for fuel mileage lol. Even in all levels A B & C none of em give u mileage. It's very difficult however to keep it out of A mode because the other 2 levels are gutless, well, for a Busa that is. You simply cannot enjoy these things in levels B & C. Anyhow yea the fuel mileage sucks, but ohhhhhh so worth it cuz its a gd Hayabusa 👍
Aye, I agree with you there Tony, although bearing in mind what kind of bike it is I thought the economy was acceptable. But yeah, you're not gonna be buying one of these to ride it economically!
Honestly currently riding a 07 bandit 1250s. Does the throttle feel that much like an on/off switch to you? I always felt like it wasn’t too bad but it is also the only bike I’ve ever owned.
@@ukveganbikers I just talked to my father about it because he had a chance to ride it. He said the bike felt extremely weird with the fueling so I guess I was just used to it.
Show me the location of my nearest dinosaur factory farm and you'll win that argument! 😉 Hope you did end up treating yourself to one, it's superb machine and there is space for one in my dream garage, especially in this colour! 👍🏻

Thank you! It really is a phenomenal machine and I’m sure you won’t regret making the change!
Interesting swap. Any particular reason why you want rid of the Versys thou as they seem to be fabulous bikes from the reviews I have watched....

Haha, well, if I'm ever lucky enough to get another test ride on one, I will definitely be trying that out!
Colour combo is awesome...
It is isn’t it! I think it’s definitely the best looking Busa ever in this colour.
What a beautiful bike....

@ukveganbikers Yes you must be careful how you park it etc. They love stealing anything here. Sin City 🤣.
That's why I very rarely ride to London, only if I have no other choice! 😬
Risers available for Gen 3 ? Lovely review mate🙌
Thank you for the kind words! I believe Helibars have a bar riser kit for this 3rd generation. 👍🏻

No disrespect but asking mpg about a busa, maybe a moped is easier on your wallet

It was quite noticeable on my 2007 650 Bandit. But you do get used to it!
Most modern fuel injection systems are much smoother however.

Lacks strength & energy to ride a real Hayabusa.
