I think most people, even owners, don't realize that the Hayabusa isn't (and never has been) a sportbike in the traditional sense. It's an extremely powerful sport touring bike; always was.

Last year I bought a brand new 2023 in grey and red. I've since modified it with Brocks titanium CT exhaust, Sprint filter and a tune from Chris Moore. I'm 6'6" 230lbs and am more comfortable on this then a Road King. They're worth every penny. Love your content man, keep it up! You need to get one!!!

I also have a ZX14 my coworker has a Busa we switch all the time but I wouldn’t give up the 14 for one. UNLESS! you have a second gen 14 and looking to get a 3rd gen Busa. Kawasaki with the if it ain’t broke don’t fix it typical Japanese mentality just made it to where the bike lacking the modern day amenities that every other competitor had just was quite a shame. That's amazing. how you can just glance at any bike and automatically tell what it is. Me myself, I actually have to get a good look at it first because they got so many different style bikes out there. that's what you call a true motorcycle rider right there.💯💯💯 ✌🏽
Definitely go with the Hayabusa. That hesitation is something common with that quick shifter. It happens usually if you are shifting too low in RPM at too high of load. The Moore Mafia tune helped out quite a bit. I rarely have that issue now.
I grew up with a 99' hayabusa on a magazine page, taped on the front of my fridge. Maaan that new Busa is something else. -much love from Motorrad Aaron
I've owned every generation of Hayabusa and have a gen 1 and gen 3 right now. So of course I vote busa. In the old days these bikes were called "gentleman's express." They were never traditional sportbikes. Honda Blackbird XX, Hayabusa, Kawasaki ZX12R was the beginning of what was a superfast straight line machine. The best thing about these bikes is you can beat on them all day every day and they keep going. Bulletproof
It's true tho. If you're over 6' 200 lbs, sit on an RSV4 and look at how huge you look. I call it "Giant Ape Syndrome." They're making superbikes smaller....especially the Italian ones.

TTS supercharger build on the busa would be dope, you can stretch it out to a long build series and it will be unique and interesting. Fireblade is cool but after a short time it's not that interesting for content, blade gets done to death already
Torque is the word you're looking for! HP on the busa is not over the top (stock or full bolt-ons), but it's hard to match that torque with smaller engines or naturally aspirated bikes. Busa is great for taller riders too!!
I mean..if you're all about straight line power, the fireblade will never hold a candle to a turbo busa, nothing will, really and the best part is that it's not expensive to turbo it. I got the gen 3 a year ago and love it.
