    Cracking video! Oh how I am jealous of your weather....Here in England we have had rain every day for the last 27 days, suppressed temperatures, and no end in sight to this abysmal weather. Still enjoying my Gen 3 Busa during the occasional window of dry roads.

      Thank you! I think we got lucky with the weather on the way out. It was perfect, a bit hot at times but no rain. On the way back we hit rain each day.

    That Corvette was saucy. l like your trip planning, museum stops are always a good idea. I need to get a trip with you two at some point. Mexican food is my favourite. Bloody genius food. I love the bikes in the room trick, should really be a recommended action nearly by Motels and stuff. 623 miles is a loooooot, well done to both of you on the sportsbikes!! Especially Peter on the s1krr. PCS omelette :O I need that. I will never not appreciate any curve ever again, I took Irish roads for granted. That's a very pretty area.
    Did I see Peter get his knee down behind you? :D
    To be fair 0.5 is the lowest number I can count to. Any smaller and it's too hard to see.
    I didn't know Busas could sweat. This video is making me sad kinda while being happy for you. I need to sort my life out and do a trip before I lose my mind. I want a Busa so so bad. Need to visit and sit on yours to see do I fit!!

      A trip with the three of us would be grand! Mexican food is in my top 2...nah it's my fav to. 600+ miles is really more then I like to do in a day TBH but shit happens sometimes. Peter got his knee down??? Maybe... I was disappointed with BBQ in Memphis on the way back as well. You need to come out here, take my Busa for a day. I honestly think with bar risers and lowered pegs (still plenty of ground clearance) you would be comfy on it.

    Hey bud thanks for the upload, always look forward to your vids, especially the busa ones!
    I'd love to know a bit more about how those two bikes compare on long runs in as many ways as you would care to cover. See you on the next one, MB 🏍🍻😎

    Those long straight miles!! Ugghh..we have a few of those in Ohio. Definitely boring with nothing to do but crunch miles.
    At least most of your food stops were good. I didn't picture Arkansas to have that many Twisties.
    I have to make my way down there some day!
    Good video man!!

    Man those are some serious miles, on the flat straight roads can you at least open the bike up a bit 👀
    The museum looked interesting, bet you lads were just happy to have a break.
    Sweet that you get to keep the bikes in the room, is that to prevent theft?
    I love that this trip is basically a "on the go food review" 😂
    The pig trail looked awesome, great riding road.
    When I visited the states I had one of the best nights out ever in Chattanooga 🤘
    Man that road at the end was special. Great riding fellas, I can't wait for the next part

    • @MonkeyButtRides
      @MonkeyButtRides  10 місяців тому +1

      Yeah, we got to open the bikes up a bit here and there. It's hard to stay tucked and deal with the vibrations for very long though. Theft is my main motivator for keeping the bikes in the room. I LOVE my foods!!! Chattanooga looks really awesome!!

    Them old Corvettes are delicious!
    623 miles is a wedge... I think that is around the furthest I have done in a day... did that on my V7 and was walking like John Wayne for a few days after! 😀
    The old style diner looked good, as did the bacon and eggs 😛
    So much nicer riding in the trees and bends compared to the highway of the first day.

      Oh 100% on the vette and that one was just done up right! Yeah, the wrong turn really made the day tougher than it should have been. I've only done that many miles in a day a couple of times and it's tough man. Bikes and food man, best combo ever.

    • @MonkeyButtRides
      @MonkeyButtRides  10 місяців тому +1

      Great attention to detail! Peter has two seats for his BMW and one of them he got very recently and wasn't sure how it would fare on the long ride, so he brought the original incase he didn't like his new one.

    Quite enjoyed this video. Could I ask why you moved the bikes into hotel rooms? Was it not safe in the parking lot outside?
    And 600+ a day is just nuts! I live in the UK and did the NC500 which is a coastal loop around Scotland. So basically 300 miles a day, and that was tough! Admittedly the roads were quite narrow and twisty, but still can't imagine doing double that distance in 1 day 🙂.

    • @MonkeyButtRides
      @MonkeyButtRides  10 місяців тому +1

      I move the bikes into the hotel rooms because of theft. Some places are not so bad, one night in a small town is probably ok but other areas are more of an issue. I usually don't do 600 a day because you are right it's nuts and really just to much. I prefer 350-500 is more reasonable and if you get an early start there is enough time to enjoy yourself.

    • @MonkeyButtRides
      @MonkeyButtRides  10 місяців тому +2

      It's 100% about preventing theft and none of our bikes leak or make a mess. Sometimes we have to move things around, but we always move things back into their original position. As @M1000R said, we don't ask, we just do.

    Couple of questions: 1)how many miles to a tank does it get cruising? 2) you ever plan on getting hard bags for it? 3) what tire do you run? I would only get about 4k miles on a set when i had a gsxr1k

    • @MonkeyButtRides
      @MonkeyButtRides  7 місяців тому +1

      1) The computer says 220 but I never go that far without stopping. 2) No, there are a decent amount of options for hard luggage on Busa's but no I don't. 3) Right now I'm running power 5's. Already got more miles the power 5's then I did on the S22's the Busa comes with. I think with the S22's I got around 5k and with the power 5's I'm at 6k right now and they look good enough to me I'm going to keep them through fall and winter and get some new tires in spring. They are a bit flat on top from all the highway miles on road trips.

    Hows these long distance rides with the stock seat ive been thinking about gettimg a busa and i feel like the first think i would do is get a different seat. Your thoughts?

    • @MonkeyButtRides
      @MonkeyButtRides  10 місяців тому +1

      My opinion on the Busa seat is based off of coming from my ZX10. I also did 700 miles on a rented street glide. Based off those experiences I think the Busa seat is pretty awesome. It's thick, wide and comfy. I have no plans to upgrade it I like it that much.

    I’m about to head out on my own tour - probably 650 miles per day - on a CBR 500r. How was your body waking up each day? Do you have any suggestions to help me prepare for these 3 big days?
    Awesome video by the way!

    • @MonkeyButtRides
      @MonkeyButtRides  10 місяців тому

      Thanks man! I would not recommend 650 a day that is a tough gig to keep up on a bike. We did 650 (was suppose to be 550ish), 500 and then 400 the 3rd day I've only don't that many miles in a day one or two other times before and I hated it

    • @MonkeyButtRides
      @MonkeyButtRides  10 місяців тому

      As far as recommendations, control your mind and focus it will either make things hard or easy and prep the bike mock stuff up if it's the first time do a test ride, etc. Good luck is mostly being prepared
