For anyone stuck at the apple tree marking a single vert-- It's not enabled by default, but the "extra objects" addon (included in the release) has an add object> single vertex option. You need to go to the User Preferences and manually enable the addon. I was struggling to make one at first and googled this. Hope this helps!

The subsection on flowers is fire man. I combined that idea with grass and it's amazing for anything ground clutter related. I need to figure out how to translate this into Godot, it shouldn't be too hard and it would save a ton of work. Also, I haven't tried it yet but I think you can change targets to do this with things like scale instead of color. Super cool, like playing with a 3D stamp maker.

Amazing! At 00:56:22 when you press O to Proportional Editing then G to move part of the sphere, what do you do to make the rest of the sphere stand still? I've tried the same stuff but my sphere goes with the rest of the movement and the shapes changes along with it.

@@sentinautt This happened to me too. I cannot apply modifier by ctrl+a. Try pressing the down arrow key beside the modifier and hit apply. Once the modifier disappear, you know you already applied it. Hope it help! Goodluck
Good night. I noticed that you applied simple shaders without separating the UVs from the objects. For this type of stylized project, you don't need to separate the UVs?
I didn't use any UV's because there are no textures on these objects, except for the procedural dots on the mushrooms. so the UV's are just whatever the defaults were of the objects.

I have a question related to assets in Blender and Unreal Im starting to make my own videogames and my own models for that, so I started making a "single archive" for every model that I make in Blender and export it to Unreal. But Im thinking that it would be better to do it the way you have everything here in the video, so I dont have in Unreal many folders with the same materials duplicated XD It is better make it indivually or "everything from the same class" together?

Hey I had the same issue, try redoing it, once you add the landscape a small arrow appears on the lower left side of the screen. If you click it it will expand.
For my model I want to use cycles not this tutorial model but in my model how can I bake indirect lighting is that required or will cycles automatically Make realistic lighting

@@forgame8438 For that, you will probably need to make a texture map, with all of the different colors you want on the object. Then UV unwrap the object, and place the different faces in the UV editor, on the different colors.

When you use the color ramp to help randomize your colors as you duplicate the meshes, does that carry over to a game engine. for example would it behave the same if i exported it to unity? thanks in advance.
I don't think that would work in Unity, because its a Procedural texture. So you would need to bake the colors out to a texture map, and use that to color the objects.
Extruding doesn't change in different Blender Versions. Its always been, E, to extrude. You might need to be in the face, or vertex select, for it to work. But yes, I think I was using Blender 2.9 when I made this tutorial.

I've learned Blender mostly by just doing tutorials on UA-cam and practising a lot. Blender Guru's tutorials are really good too!
24:30 I have absolutely no idea how you made your vertices turn into squares. I applied the modifier and it still looks like single vertices.
You need to use the Skin modifier.
@@RyanKingArt I did and used the shortcut to apply when hovering over the modifier but it remained as just the tree of single vertices

Make realistic lighting
Cycles is very realistic already, so in Cycles, you don't need to bake the lighting with the irradiance volume.

@@forgame8438 You could try exporting it as an FBX, and then add it to Roblox. I don't use Roblox though, so I don't know how to get that to work.
