The kit I used is shown as out of stock but this kit has the same 90980-11885 part number.. www.amazon.com/Yonput-Ignition-Connector-90980-11885-Replacement/dp/B0BRZWH3Y8/ref=dp_prsubs_sccl_1/134-4514066-3574960?pd_rd_w=JSnxi&content-id=amzn1.sym.3ad0ccdf-fd9f-4ec9-a400-2b1165fdcd58&pf_rd_p=3ad0ccdf-fd9f-4ec9-a400-2b1165fdcd58&pf_rd_r=GEDV6BRB7HHX9ZBHCQMX&pd_rd_wg=pQma6&pd_rd_r=8d3b1407-512e-4036-837a-13f35c07b523&pd_rd_i=B0BRZWH3Y8&psc=1
Thanks for the video. The kit I got did not have the wires. The ones on the car were so brittle I just squeezed them and did it that way. Splicing would have looked ugly.
THANK YOU! The plugs broke years ago when the mechanic replaced the plugs. We once lost major power and found out it was the plugs. Ever since I'd just re-seat the plugs and ignore the warning lights. Ordering parts now!
Thank you so much for this video. Changed the plugs in my 2010 Camry today and the plastic connectors were just crumbling. This was a WAY easier fix than we were expecting. 👍
Nice! Just replaced all 6 of my 2016 Tacoma Sport plugs and wondered what would happen if I busted one of these. Shop quoted 650.00 to replace just the plugs!
Excellent video! This is WAY better than butt-splicing those wires. I wonder what those Nylon tye-wraps are for, with their glass transition temps of 50C to 70C. LOL!!!!
Owned a 1995 Camry with the V6. Car was great until everything thing started falling apart. Wire connectors and plastic parts became brittle. Even the interior was breaking down and putting off a chemical smell.
I've never seen that happen before, but if the wires to the individual coils are bad, you'll likely have other problems due to shorts in other areas as well. If, on the other hand, one were to damage the individual female connectors by attempting to remove them improperly (though even that would seemingly damage the plastic connector itself), yes, you could splice the wires that come pre-installed in most of the sets available online. Just be sure to keep em in order* and to create a solid connection with the original wires. * The wires on the aftermarket sets DO NOT CORRESPOND WITH THE COLORS OF THE ORIGINALS!!
These look like very poor quality connectors. My 17 years old Suzuki Liana started giving trouble because of poor contact and not damaged connector housing . Toyota apparently has bought a bad batch . Wish you can send me the wires with the metalic grips 😅
Do you know where you bought the kit? Thanks.

Great job, Thank you
Should you disconnect the battery, prior to changing out the housing?
you can if you want to but there is no power going to the connectors unless you turn the ignition on..
@@tongo117 thanks!
The wires were so brittle they broke. Can't we use the wires that come in the new cases?
