The wizkids ones look good, but yours look even better, honestly. Yours' look a little sturdier and more varied, and overall the whole set up looks phenomenal. It's great to see someone making awesome crafts with unfussy foam and crafts sticks, eyeballing measurements, mixing materials. Great work!
That's a fantastic looking marketplace! I'm both envious and inspired. I know I'm going to be coming back to this video at a later date when I make my own marketplace scatter.
You should use painters tape and cut it into small strips, then you can place them on stuff like your canopies there to get straight edges when painting.
I'm about to start a marketplace for my frostgrave board. This is just the inspiration I needed to get me started, thank you. Awesome looking pieces really great job.
That looks great as always bro, and I would go with yours over Wizkid. I think what brings it out are the items you created for the stalls. I was wondering if the glue was too thick when you used the grass applicator. You may want to try the 50/50 mix and see if that works better or test the wire for a current.
Just in case you have never tried it, you can cut those pre-made grass tufts down smaller sizes and different shapes to fit up to stuff better. Like having a straight side to fit up against a wall. Also you can paint them and recolor them. And you can make some really nice grass and weed tufts by gluing together, trimming, and painting some cheap bamboo brush bristles(basting brushes).
I just used the stuff I mentioned above to make some alien looking terrain on the base of a robot figure I recently printed on my resin printer. If you want to see it, I have pics of it posted to my art page on FB and my Instagram account too.
I actually followed you earlier on Instagram and then tagged you in the post. It has a figure of a robot with a heavy machine gun(like a Vulcan cannon style minigun).
Two things: I love how you control the hot glue! I usually get giant globs, and they show everywhere and it's real ugly. Also I love your right angled clippers for stir sticks. I have some bolt cutters that work real well but I have to cut before gluing since they usually won't fit after stuff is in place. I really do with I was that small so I could wander the market!
The applicator might be iut of power with batteries. And if the batteries are still good, then I am afraid to say it could have an issue with its connection. The idea for the applicator is that when the grass falls out of the applicator, it would be attracted to the front of the applicator because of the small charge coming from the connector on the place you want the grass to land.
Yours body the the wizkids ones right off the board. I'm only disappointed that you didn't do a cheesemonger stall with great wheels and wedges of cheese!
I was watching another video with improvised static grass application where the woman generated static electricity on a balloon, then used it to stand up the grass on her piece.
Awesome work, I have got lazy using the 3d printer... I prefer yours to the wizkids ones. I made my potion bottles out of beads as well as produce out of milliput.
Time is often the overlooked resource. 3d printing leaves you time to invest in other aspects of the hobby and your life. Don't feel bad about that. As long as you're having fun, that's what counts. Craft on!
For the stall tops, a better option would be to go to the Dollar Tree, they've got a pretty good, cheap set of cloth options that you may not even need to paint (Several have some very interesting patterns for it). Also, while not a market, the pastry cart reminds me of the Gathers from the Pern books...especially the pies...
@@brokenterrain There’s a few people on Etsy that resin print miniature potions and bottles but depending on your budget, the cost might add up. Though the cost does seem comparable to the cost/benefit of Reaper Mini’s in my opinion.
Right now I've got two groups playing my game The Broken. I'm a player in one and DMing the other. We're testing it, making sure things are balanced and working as intended. If you're interested I would love to get your thoughts on it.

Watch it as many times as you need. 😁👍
Hot take: I prefer the grass the way it came out. It looks more realistic for an area where a market would set up, and it's much more interesting.

I love this so much. Definitely doing these as my next project

Awesomeness 😁👍
End result looks all ready for a visit from the Tarrasque!
Great job as always. Love your channel.
imo yours look better then the ones you bought great video love the story at the end lol
I think I'm winning! Your move Wizkids!
Everything came out SO GOOD! Great job on these!

Just found your channel. Loved the carved and bead produce idea. You did a great job on these.
I loved all the little stalls that you made. It's little things like that which really build the world.
I agree and making all the little details is so much fun.
Bro. I'm going to make every one of these! Love them!

I'll try that. I know it's getting current cause I shocked the ever loving hell out of myself. Arm was numb for a while. 🤣🥲😥
Great job! Peppercorns also make great fruit and vegetables
Wonderful tip. Thank you.
Great video. My wife and I are hooked.
Fantastic! Glad to have the both of you.
Amazing work, this marketplace scatter is legit
Thank you 😊

I will! Thank you.
I really liked how you made the stalls & have them on a bace.
Thank you 😊
Awesome setup. Love the small details.
They look great
Tip on the static grass, you need to complete the circuit. You can do that by putting the alligator clip in the glue or use rubbing alcohol
Thank you for the tip. 😁👍
You need to use a needle the alligator clip and then you put the tip of the needle on the base. Many videos on youtube.
You are amazingly talented and creative I've been binge watching your vids love the personality too new sub
Thank you 😊
Amazing idea! Very nice work 👍
Thank you very much
I needs those 😅 looks great
Fantastic job!
Thanks 😊
For the static grass applicator you might have to put the alligator clip on something that is negative
I think you're right.

Great looking stalls. Those should add a lot to gameplay

🐁 🪤 A missed opportunity for sure.
I was watching another video with improvised static grass application where the woman generated static electricity on a balloon, then used it to stand up the grass on her piece.
That sounds like a great technique. I'm gonna have to try that.
Applying static-grass looks like a pain in the butt. I'll stick with Citadel and Army Painter tufts.
great content
These look great. In the wide shot I cannot pick out which things you crafted or the store bought plastic pieces.
I'll call that a win. Thanks for checking out the video.

@@brokenterrain very true, indeed.
You should make a stone one as well making it dwarves
That's a cool idea. I am severely lacking in dwarf terrain.

The dollar store is a great place for crafting bits.
@@brokenterrain yeah, unfortunately, Dollar Tree has recently upped prices...still shop there, but it's irritating
You could make your own potions with hot glue!😁 A little vegetable oil, play doh or putty, and some hot glue. You dig?👍✌️❤️
Also, you Inspire me.🙏❤️✌️
Awesome tip. Thank you for checking out the video and sharing some info.
Bummer. I was really looking forward to those potion bottles lol.
I'm trying to find someone interested in printing bits.

The stalls look wonderful! I’m feeling inspired to make my own like this too. Would you happen to have rough dimensions for them?
If it helps, the wooden tiles used to base them are 4x4 inches. I try to use 1" = 5' and stay close to scale as possible.
This is one of my favorite builds of all of the builds I have watched. Where do you get your figures? Do you paint them yourself?
Check out the video just before this one. That should answer your question. ua-cam.com/video/lIWUPNY-r48/v-deo.html. Thank you for watching.
for ur static grass u need to put a pin in the base and then use the clip to the pin
its why you keep failing it
Thank you I'll give that a try.
@@brokenterrain np at all
i liked your handmade stalls a little better than the wiz kids ones because they have character
Thank you 😊
@@brokenterrain your welcome
love yours better than Wizkids
Thank you 😁 👍
Where did the armor and weapons come from?
Maybe consider using a paper towel with some water and glue instead of the cheese cloth see how that works
I believe I tried that first and liked the cloth texture better.
Spectacular as always.
Keep up the good work!
