Great stuff man. Little tip....when painting yellow onto a dark colour do an undercoat of orange first. The yellow will stand out much more and coverage will be great.
I think one of the most fun things about crafting is trying to make something with cheap stuff. The gratification when you have a professional looking piece you made with a couple bucks and some sweat is so good.
Love the video bud! I think every crafter ever has to give some credit to final faction. We’ve ALL used a piece or 2 at some point in our career. Great build
Love that use of the Dollar Tree toy parts. They're every terrain crafter's best friend, after hot glue. Really brings the whole piece to life. Regarding the out-of-scale weapons in that one pack. I had an idea for how to make use of those in a build: Ogryn weapons shop for Necromunda. A sort of "Big & Tall" store, for the discerning Ogryn in need of arms and clothing in "proper" proportions. I need to build that at some point.
You might want to try putting some stretched cotton ball inside to make a fog effect. Pretty sure another craft channel i follow did that (creatures caverns and crafting). Great use of greebles, think I'll try making one myself.
In the tank resin would be awesome, but would take a lot and add a lot of weight, you could add some cotton at the bottom as steam or mist rising up. Fun video, keep it up.
Great use of nice greebles! The layering gives it so much detail. Very nicely done. Oh and i don't mind the fogginess...i think (at least on camera) it adds to the build
Next time you're at the dollar store, grab a make up brush for the dry brushing. (Where you put paint on brush then wiped it off). You'll be able to get a better more even weathering effect
Amazing work as always! I am currently stealin- er, taking inspiration from your work to make my own poor experiment victim who had an arm removed and a large living vine grafted to the stump along with giant leafy wings being grafted to her back. I see her as being a failed, abandoned experiment now left with one directive programmed into her - to defend the lab at all costs despite it being decrepit and abandoned. She'll make an interesting monster for the players to fight.
I think the middle lights and that part of the cord should have been run to the outside of the clear tube. Then make a shroud on the outside to hold them. Add some power coupler/cable/wire details to it and mount the lights in it pointing outward.
That was part of a much more complicated original plan where I could spin the tube from broken to unbroken. Ultimately I had to give up on that aspect for time.
Dude what u did with the base blows me away. That Dog faction thing looks like he could set it free, like a Sumo Wrestler. I would put bits on hanging lights (like medical) since they seem hard to hide. Mabye paint wires since they prob tied into vitals anyway . or hide a light in one of the backpacks. now Bubbles. thank you for this insperation. Awsome build Man.
I have a question, I don't think I ever saw you use a proxon hot wire cutter, do you ever use one? Maybe I missed it in a video. I don't own one and don't have room for one, but many, many channels that do crafting always use one. Thank you!
I do have a proxxon and used it to cut the puck shape of foam. I'm not very skilled with it and don't film much of its use. Is this something you'd like to see more of?
@@brokenterrain Not necessarily, I think you make amazing work with just the use of an exacto or other blades you use. I actually learn better techniques that way. Would be great to see a video on techniques using different types of blades.
Looks like you hit your 10k bud! Congrats. Maybe "The stairs of 10,000 steps...' as a build lol. Loving this tube build. Inspiring me to do some more fallout terrain

I vote for churro to become the newest member of the Shamrock Boys as either tinnlys familiar or as a rangers pet for one of the boys.
That is a fun idea. 🤔

Agreed 👍

That would make a great use of those larger weapons.
This...
This is why I love this hobby and these channels!
Transforming garbage and cheap junk into masterpieces.
Thank you 😊
great video. I also appreciate showing the mistakes. It normalizes the mistakes we make and helps not getting frustrated
Totally and boy do I make a ton of mistakes.
This looks like another great project. The tank and creature look massive. It will definitely be a challenge for those space marines.
Yeah in scale it's massive. Taller than a 2 story house. Image facing off against the monstrous beast the emerges from it!
Getting powerful Resident Evil vibes from it. Like those Space Marines are about to get into a fight with a Tyrant.
Oh yeah.

That sounds cool. I'll have to try it.
OMG, this is something i Will totally use for my first campain as a DM. I cant wait to build something like this.
Awesomeness 😁👍
Awesome job again BT! Say hi to the family.
Thank you so much. The fam says hello.

Once again your creativeness is on display awesome build
Thank you so much ☺️

It was so much fun kitbashing all those great toys.
My favorite project of yours yet! outstanding work!!!!
😎👍
I adore you LoL the intro was perfect!
☺️ aw shucks. 😊 thank you very much. It was fun to record.
The foggyness makes it look better I think. That way it's not too clean. I like it man. Good job like always
Thanks 👍
Those poor Shamrock Boys don't know what they are getting into...
Loving the look of this one, great job!
Thank you
Hey BT, Another awesome build! Congrats on 10k subs. You deserve at least another 40k. Keep going! Final Faction forever!!!
Thank you. It feels pretty awesome hitting 10k.

What a fun build!
The lighting from this project created some great photos and videos. Thanks for checking it out.
Great stuff! Awesome work 👏
Thanks!

I love it. Be sure and let me know how it turns out.
Looks great!

HO scale trains use a lot of transfers with warning labels
Awesomeness, thank you for this tip.

@@brokenterrain not really. I like watching you craft not so much into simple things like a saw.

I use a wash of made from Gin, H2o & calligraphy ink.
Gin eh? A little for the project, a little for me. A little more for the project, a little more for me. 🤤
Decals made for gundam's would work great for you. Full of Danger/warning and generic lines, they tend to be kind of expensive tho.
Awesome. I'll have to check them out. Right now I just look for on sale pine wood derby and model car decals.
Love your Stuff
I this stated painting And photographing Army men
Thank you
Nifty
Looks good , my boys and l are planning out a Lab for our fallout game ,good ideas for us to make afew super mutants in FEV chambers.
