I don’t know how you’re not more popular, all your tutorials are extremely detailed but simple enough that anyone could get results if they really tried. Love all the videos I’ve watched so far 🙌🏻🙌🏻
I don't participate in the fantasy side of miniatures, but man...this was great. A good number of take-aways for technique and inspiration. Welcome to '21
Informative and entertaining as always! :) A small improvement that I learned from my own houses: The wooden floor looks much cleaner when you glue the floor planks down first and the skiritng boards afterwards.
Awesome imagination ,and awesome production of those imagings. Huge ton of ideas. My kids have started playing DnD since the quarentine s started , you gave us some amazing ideas , keep rewinding and pausing to get the general idea. You are amazing , thank you again.
I imagine D&D game where gamemaster have done these. "you see a cottage in the woods"... Players look at each other... "ok, well ignore it and continue to deep forest.".... Gamemaster stares silently at the party... Those details are superp. head in the jar + potraits were my favorites!
I AM THE TABLE! Seriously though, wonderful video, full of great ideas yet again! Really like the potion bottles from beads, and those heads are something else. Excellent work dude!
I've been making books out of PVC sheeting and paper for a long time, but I never thought about texturing it to look like pages!! I feel kind of stupid now honestly. That's an ingenious idea
Holy hell I'm watching this while there's a nasty thunderstorm outside my window and I thought your sound effect at 11:57 was real! haha I paused the video in pure shock because suddenly I could hear the thunder so crystal clear outside my ear phones, and as I paused I couldn't tell if it was the video or the thunder rumbling outside and had to rewind to be sure my ears were still working right 🤣🤣
ok OK, I was taking a drink of Coffee, when all of a sudden, " LMAO BOB'S YOUR UNCLE!" OMG!! I love this guy!! That Little Side By Side Table gave me an idea for a RL Coffee Table THANKS! Might send you a pic when I get it done! AWESOME WORK as ALWAYS! Hope Your Well Sir! HAPPY NEW YEAR! God Bless You and yours!! saved This Vid for future viewing ALOT!!!
@@DarkMatterWorkshopI was having my lunch. I don't actually watch many channels but you have a similar philosophy to me, plus your builds are very cool. I am really enjoying your work - Come and say over on my channel or my FAceBook Page @MagratheaModels
Thank you for your God given abilities. The videos are super detailed and easy to follow. REQUEST: Would you do an LED, flickering fire place and / or camp fire with cooking spit? Thanks,
Realy cool mate, just subscribed. About that straight black lines on potions, just dip bottle upside down in black paint and you will always get perfect straight line. :)
Very nice work! So full of charm! Question: a couple of times on the furniture you built then textured, wouldn't it be easier to texture before building? Also maybe UV resin could have worked for the heads?
Thank you ! I textured after glue so i had more surface area for the PVA to grip. I tried the uv resin and failed, i did thin layers with enough exposure to the uv light and still didn’t get a good result. No idea what caused it.
It’s an old issue in some of my vids. You’d think i’d solved the problem by now but......yeah . 2021 is the year I’m upping my video/audio game. Please forgive me and rejoice in knowing things will be better ! Thank’s for the quality control ! I take all comments to heart.
@@DarkMatterWorkshopOh no, sorry I was making a reference to Skyrim. Your magic orb looks like a purple Meridia's Beacon, which is an infamous item in that game because you can never put it down until you beat the quest. Hope that wasn't upsetting, I love your videos.

Lego jig is a good idea!
No more crooked angles ! Woohoo !
I don't know what the heck I'm going to make a bunch of miniature portraits for, but dang now I really want to.

I love that extra flare you have with the finer details, these are amazing little builds.

Inspiring man. Now I want to do interiors for every building
Have fun ! 😏
This is astounding. I'll be referencing this for years; this is probably the most information dense terrain video I've ever seen!
A more intelligent youtuber would have made at least 4 17min. Videos about it 😉
This and his sci-fi greeblies one
The lego jig is genius.
I have my moments 😉
Thank you for sharing ... One of the BEST miniature builds I have seen so far ... Sooo many simple yet innovative ideas ... Inspired me for sure
High praise ! Thank you !
Love this video! "Eentje is geentje" cracked me up. I made similar picture frames, but used the plastic from a miniature blister as glass instead.
Great idea, merci for watching ! 😉
Amazing stuff man! The attention to detail is wonderful. Every one of these mini pieces really adds a ton of life to the whole piece
Thanks !
Gluing the frame to the picture is a really cunning idea.

@@DarkMatterWorkshop Graag gezegd ;-) :-)
Was that a botchamania reference? Man, didn't expect that in a crafting video.
I don’t think so, what part do you mean ?
@@DarkMatterWorkshop "I am the table" is a repeated segment on Botchamania. I know it's from a Metallica song, but that's where I hear it most often.

Music goes weird on the video after 7 minutes but the craft was awesome as per usual
Do you mean the volumes or the music’s tone ?
Thanks for watching!
@@DarkMatterWorkshop it cuts in and out at seemly random times, it may just be the volume going up and down randomly, found it slightly distracting

What size/Gauge/Kind of wire do you suggest works for making the candle wicks?
As fine as possible, 0,3mm if I remember correctly.
What brand of paint brush are u using to put the wash on the capacitors that u turned into jars ?
Jr products, no special reason but i do like the shape.
Do you remember where you got the picture from your ending screen (21:42)?
Someone made that for me.
is that foamcore you are using there?
i have been wondering this for quite a while:
what is the dutch word this stuff is commonly sold as??
What part exactly? Foamcore is schuimkarton in dutch.
Dat is erg inspirerend
Merci !
bad ass.

What is the sheet that looks like paper, but a bit thick called?
Which part of the vid. ?

since when has capacitors been filled with acid

So much missing information on the cauldron. Pretty finish, but not useful instructions.
How about you specify the “missing information” instead of being negative ?
Glad to give all the explanation you need !
