It's really nice seeing the desert table coming together. The central modular ruins look very distinct from the other table, and the layered build at the end really shows how you can combine the pieces together into something impressive. Great work, mister Wizard!
Enjoying revisiting your channel. A while back, I watched a bunch of the Frostgrave battle reports. I recently shared your videos with a friend... and got sucked into your newer terrain builds.
I love the idea. I think I'll do the same thing and create this terrain because I'm also struggling with storage space for terrain but don't want to sacrifice the verticality of the terrain.
Really cool approach to these. Do the magnets keep things secure enough in play to keep the floors from tumbling? Or would you recommend a more hefty reenforced approach to layouts with these?
I'd say the magnets do a decent job! I was able to use them successfully on the table for a battle report with multiple models on them at the same time.
Sick. Definitely pretty simple, definitely pretty time consuming :D Do the Brick texture rollers work decently well enough to get a somewhat similar effect?
I'll be honest and say, I don't know. I have used texture rollers in the past for other projects, and I find the build starts to look a bit "repetitive." This is just my opinion and I would say give it a try, and see how you like it!
@@DiceChatter Thanks for the feedback. I think since time is usually at a premium for me that's what I'll need to do. Maybe break things up with moss and a hot knife to get rid of some of same-ness.
Hey can we uh… talk about the wall here? 1:02 🎨👀
I mean… I gotta put all this stuff somewhere! 🤓
Calling this "simple" made me feel incompetent but I'm here to learn
I feel you on that storage space...
Adding the metal bbs is such a good idea I love it
Holy Modular Madness Batman! That is some serious modularity! Nicely done Sir Donald! 👍😲
Thanks as always buddy!

Appreciate you sharing the content around DireDen! And I am happy you are enjoying the builds!
Keen to see this with Frostgrave!
You're in luck! Check out the most recent Frostgrave release!
Doing each brick by hand definitely eats up time but you really can't argue with those results! 😲
Oooh, it is definitely a time sink! 🤓
Lots of new information to me (just starting out)! Thanks!
fantastic result mate!
Thanks a lot Trent! Always good to hear from you.

Really good work!!! **subscribed**
Thanks for the sub! 😁
Can you tell me a little more about the stuff you used to coat it before you painted? I really want to try and recreate this its amazing!
Do you mean the mod podge? If so, just add a touch of water and brush it over everything. It generally acts as a protective seal.
Awsome thanks so much! @@DiceChatter

I g your at 9.99k subs almost 10k congrats
Almost there! And thank you!
I'd show you my terrain pile but I'd have to open about 100 totes ( to depressing to think about)
Give the terrain away that you don't use! I'm getting close to that point soon...
more!
Nice
Thank you!
Dope❤
the bricks.... I will never have the patience....
You never know if you don’t try 🤓!
Have too much terrain and minis? NAHHH lol I only have 9 large billy bookcases full :/
Hahhaa! Love it!
"Simple"
Step 1: "Cut 3,000 bricks"
😐😐😐...
@@DiceChatter It just gave me a laugh is all. I've actually got a similar setup and materials and I'm going to give this a go.
Simple....lol
Love your vids, real good quality terrain !
Glad you enjoy them! Always nice to hear 🤓
