However I have witnessed with my own eyes how quick to abuse their partners they can be. I'm a straight woman and over the years I have known lesbians who were both single and in relationships. Every single one I have ever met either hit their significant other or was the one being hit. The single ones all had stories about how they had either been abused by a partner or how they had beaten up a girlfriend. The ones dishing out the violence seemed to think that because they were the same sex it was absolutely fine to resort to beating their girlfriend and didn't even recognise it as domestic abuse. Any time they were angry or upset with the other they thought they could punch, slap, kick etc them. I cut a lot of them out of my life when I saw this side of them. Abuse is abuse.
I have 2 close friends who are lesbians and before they met their wives. One of them told me a ex girlfriend of hers emotionally abused her so much that she tried ending her life over it and the other lesbian i know got cheated on a lot by her ex girlfriends before she met her wife she is with now My auntie is also a real bisexual woman who has had relationships with 4 men and 1 woman. I work till 11:30pm and walk home at night. I don't feel safe I work with another man who takes the same route home as me and we tend to walk with each other to feel more safe.
