I'm a 20-year-old girl, and I want to say thank you for calling out the double standards that we have the privilege of as well. I just can't stand some women who think they're better than men and attack them when it's socially unacceptable for men to say that they're better than women and attack them. We all need to treat each other equally.

Narcissistic women screaming about men glancing at them for being creeps while filming themselves in overtly sexual clothing in public gyms so they can post it on TikTok later for thousands and millions of people to ogle them is the height of hilarity for me.

So they become this egotistical narcissist person who is so much into themselves that no one or guy will take them seriously or even want them. This shit has happened to me, i go to the gym alone and always mind my own business, I started going because i was fat and out of shape (350 pounds and am now 240 pounds) i always look around while at a machine to scout out the next one i’ll use. One time this girl started accusing me of being a perv and staring at her which I hadn’t, being who i am I said, I wasn’t and was looking to see what machine ill use next and apologized if she perceived it differently. Then i continued doing my workout, a little bit later, I’m on the treadmill and she shows up with some poor dumbass guy who doesn’t know anything and starts telling him “this is the dirt bag who’s been staring at me and being a perv!” And tries to instigate a fight between us. Luckily I didn’t get into a fight because one of the gym employees had seen the whole thing and actually kicked them out, banning her from the gym too

Im 42, overweight, ugly and depressed. Im working out and going to the gym now, but only because I want to be around for my kids and wife. Often times, those who dont have depression or anxiety dont know how hard it is to be in public when there is a judgement and a perception around social media influencers being the truth of it all..... creating a black hole of social acceptance.

@erucpauze9055 thanks for sharing and please know that your not alone. I’m 6 foot 340 pounds and have been struggling for years with depression, self image issues, and lack of confidence. Next week is my 6th anniversary and my wife and I have been to far too many gyms where we have been made to feel uncomfortable for a multitude of reasons, but mainly because we are old and have to use telescopes to find the shape we should be in.
I DO look at other people at the gym and often ask what they are doing and what they would recommend or if they have any tips. I’m deeply self conscious, and have a hard time just being there but like my wife says, we are all there to improve ourselves and asking for help from someone more experienced is a good way to improve.
Keep working on your journey to being a better and healthier person.

Sad thing is even if you're blind, you're not safe. I remember a story I read where a girl was working out, a man "glances" over at her, and she calls him a creep for looking. She brought the manager over there and asked to make him stop. The guy explains that he's blind and can't see anything. What does the manager do? They tell him not to look anyway, even though it's glaringly obvious who the troublemaker is. Fucking disgusting.

Mind you am not a creepy guy, I've personal trained people for 20 years and have competed in 15 bodybuilding shows in the ontario region, I also have a girlfriend that I've been with for 10 years. The rebuttal to her question was "not much" and continued training. After my set I walked up to her and told her "the world doesn't revolve around you" "you have a below average body that requires years of work to make it worthy of looking at" the look on her face made my decade. A couple of notes on these videos you posted:
The girl trying to bait that guy while taking her shirt off: The guy is a hired trainer of that gym. The end of the video explains that she got kicked out for that interaction and her membership was revoked. She also apparently removed a bunch of her socials for all the backlash she received.
The girl who claims that guy was staring while crossing her path: It was revealed by Joey Swoll that that guy is actually a really loved member of that gym and tries to help out those in that gym community. He was checking to see what she was doing with her weights and if he was about to get in her way.
Apparently gyms are now starting to have "non-filming and recording" clauses in membership contracts because of these sort of instances. It's also become a problem with members flexing or posing in front of locker room mirrors while filming. This is illegal to say the least.
Loved the video btw. Glad to see some of us still have a head on our shoulders.

@@jimbodee4043 Especially if we're moving toward single sex changing rooms where a dude (who's probably not transitioning) claims to be trans just to going to a women's change room to film them. Just stand in front of a mirror filming "yourself" while capturing all the women walking around behind you. I remember back in the 90's the 'voyeurism' thing was big with guys attaching cameras to their shoes to film up girls skirts on an escalator. You think *those* type of people wouldn't claim to be female to get covert shots in a women's space where they may be naked or in underwear?
Safest thing for **everyone** would be to just ban camera's in these spaces period. Solves the problem I discussed, but also the problem of people taking up gym space, for Instagram, from people who actually want to maintain their health.

What a lot of women don't understand is it is a completely natural, instinctive thing to "look"... It doesn't mean we want to girl... it doesn't mean we are fantasising... And it certainly doesn't mean we are cheating or even want to cheat. I was in an abusive relationship where simply walking past a NORMAL magazine rack in the shops was considered cheating... I had to walk around in public staring at the ground... In fact, it got so bad, I had to wait for her in the car for up to four hours to go shopping because she didn't trust me. Here in the UK, gym's have been clamping down on these types of women who complain about men for looking, however brief it is. My local gym for example banned a group of women who constantly kept complaining about men who they said were harassing them, constantly staring at them & making them feel uncomfortable. It was only when reviewing CCTV footage did the staff notice that the only time any of the men in question had any contact with the women, was when the women approached them & the men basically ignored them.
Also, if you dress up like a tart, covered in makeup & showing off your body bits as legally as possible, people are going to look. You know people are going to look & to be honest, they don't deserve to be allowed in a gym.

I`m 65 and consider myself an old school gentleman from an age when calling a woman a "Lady" was a complement as it contained a meaning that the woman had decent qualities. Believe you me the world used to be a better, less complicated place. Thank you for restoring some of my faith in the youth of today.
My story.. I`ve been a fitness freak all my life until the pandemic, where i got fat and very unfit. Due to my age and having exercised for 5 decades (and bored with it) i found it difficult to get into the gym discipline again until about 6 months ago. The very first week I went back as I was leaving i got called over by a young (about 30) woman assistant and was given a lecture on "appropriate" behaviour. the way she talked down to me was disgusting, and wasn`t allowed a defence. I let her talk then asked who had complained and exactly what I`d done. She refused to tell me to "protect" the woman. So i was in her eyes basically a creep and dangerous with it. What she didn`t know was that i was a personal friend of 20 years with Clive the gym owner. I called him there and then. In the interests of fairness i insisted that the cctv footage be reviewed whilst she and clive sat next to me. Long story short, she was sacked, the two women who`d complained about me (basically for glancing in their direction as they were wearing what were basically thongs) had their membership denied.
Believe you me if you are old, you are thought to be a "creep" just because you exercise.

A girl reported me at work for inquiring whether she was single or not by asking a coworker that works with her and knows her well. The answer was that she was taken and I backed off as soon as I found out she wasn't single. That was literally the extent of my involvement with her, I never said or did anything to her personally. She later found out I was interested or whatever and reported me.
They didn't find that I did anything wrong, so they just suggested I appease the weirdo and not talk to her or anything like that, but made sure that I knew I didn't do anything wrong. Mind you, i once went on a date with another girl from work because she did the same thing I did and asked about me and it got back to me and I was flattered. The fact that you guys need an attractive woman to boost your confidence is embarrassing and that lack of confidence is the ONLY reason these gym skanks are even able to pull this crap off. A few years ago a friend of mine was barred from a bar because of gossip and innuendo by staff members. There was a barmaid who had been overly friendly with him ( the staff had obviously been encouraged to flirt with punters as much as possible), he was therefore friendly to her but nothing more. This same woman then made a complaint and got him barred. One male staff member told him that he was barred for "creepy" behaviour but could not describe what this behaviour was beyond the way "he looked" . My friend pointed out that there had been mutual banter between the barmaid and him but nothing more, so he would react if he saw her but it was down to her over friendly behaviour towards him. My friend was angry and embarrassed as no one had indicated any problem until that moment. Had he been made aware that there was any issue he would have kept away. Looking into it it appears that he had been the butt of a joke with staff members who would make fun of this barmaid when her "fancyman" came in. It looks like she eventually got sick of the jokes.

I also had to define staring vs looking for her and I asked how would you know they're looking at you unless you were also looking at them? So why are you looking at them you creep? Keep doing you girl, I admire your strength to let your opinion be heard & Fuck anyone that has a problem with it. 🩷💜💚💯🩵💙🖤

I used to frequent a gym in the early to mid 2000s and it didn't matter if I was in tight gym shorts or a baggy tee, the one thing that relaxed me (as someone who was super self conscious at the time) was that everyone was really too busy to bother staring at anyone. There were beautiful women walking around constantly in tight gym attire and men would maybe at most just glance. I never saw anyone gawking or staring. I'd like to think a lot of the people who were just starting out like I was, were just as self conscious as I was and were more interested in getting their workout done and getting the hell out of there, lol. Nowadays I'm grateful to work out at home. All these young women filming themselves and looking for men to "catch" staring would make me way too anxious. Glad to hear that a lot of gyms are starting to ban filming and photos. If I was a guy and seen myself in one of these videos, I'd be infuriated.

It’s insane but you’re right most people are to busy. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a man gawk at a woman at the gym and I go 6 days a week. All of the ladies at the gym I go to are all cool people and don’t walk around with their butt cheeks hanging out. I’ve actually learned alot for a few of the ladies. This trend is all for the likes and it disgusts me. Its makes the women very ugly in my opinion.

When I used to go to planet fitness, I would wear a messy bun, sweatpants and hoodie most of the time because I genuinely had no desire to be looked at. These women go to the gym dressed like that because they really deeply desire the stares. If they really didn’t want it they would cover up. There’s loose fitting workout clothes

I've been going to the gym for over 30 years, and this is a new phenomenon. At my gym, I see the same characters all the time. There's one young lady who comes in full sweats, warms up and then... begins to strip down as her workout begins. It's like a car accident. Of course you're going to look! But what I observe is the young men trying their hardest not to look. Ridiculous. They should all start taking photos.

I walk in, set some equipment up then take my hoodie off. People look cos I'm moving, movement attracts attention.
Theres loads of women in gyms wearing these tight leggings that stick into their arse, and a sports bra. If you dress like that showing off all your curves, people are going to notice. Mostly a glance as people are moving, because again, movement attracts attention. If you're going to get mad about it, wear something less revealing. I love the gym I go to because there's a dress code where it states no bare midriffs, so a sports bra under a t-shirt or vest is fine.
People taking pictures in the gym of their ass attracts attention cos you look fucking stupid. Go do that in your own home.

I am so grateful that there are a few good women out there like Chloe to call out people like this. Because if a man was to say the same thing it gets twisted up and used against us. Coming from another woman takes a lot of that B. S. Off of the table. So again, thank you Chloe! Your the best friend a guy could ask for. Your husband is a very lucky guy. They make a person like you only once in a generation.

I have always felt (and hated) that men very rarely ever approach women to ask them out in person anymore, almost all of my experiences of getting asked out have been over text. But the older I get, the more I realize that this, right here, is probably a really big reason why.
I am seriously contemplating living off grid with some horses, my dog, and my dirt bike more and more. This society makes me sick.

I agree with you- and social media has given everyone such a false sense of reality. This is something I contemplate all the time- men get a harassment charge for even approaching a woman nowadays, and it’s so sad. Makes me really feel like there’s no hope for me (or anyone else) to find anyone sane.

I am a personal trainer. I used to work in a gym in which I specifically remember some girl who frequently made comments about my body, said my sub-14 per cent body fat physique was fat, made comments about my ass, etc.
I didn't ever report her to the management or make a complaint about it. I sorta just thought of it as a weird awkward joke and laughed it off. I shudder just to think what would happen if a man had such behavior towards a female trainer.
