Hello everybody! Thank you so much for your nice messages and liking the video! You guys are awesome. : ) I see some of you living in outside of USA feel sad because you can't enter the contest. I feel sad, too! But it's impossible for me to do this kind of event worldwide even in the future. Hope you should understand it. By the way, the chance of winning the contest is very slim even though 100 boxes sound like a lot. If you are one of the winners, it means you are so lucky because so many people entered this contest already. Let's congratulate the 100 winners as Korean cooking lovers! I'm happy to hear that some of you mentioned that you learned how to eat Korean readymade food by watching this video! Oh, man! Some of you volunteer translators are still submitting the captions even though you won't be able to enter the contest! 👍Here you go, English, Korean, Greek, Hindi, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Spanish (Latin America), Chinese (Simplified), Chinese, Arabic, French, and Japanese captions are up! ua-cam.com/users/timedtext_video?ref=wt&auto=yes&bl=watch&v=_aUPIdiLhJM&nv=1

Hi everybody, Meet the Korean readymade meal package winners! Check out the blog post at www.maangchi.com/blog/readymade-winners So many people entered my contest to win one of 100 Korean readymade meal packages. 31,766 people exactly!
Maangchi is my favorite. I love how she explains everything she's doing, she makes it really easy to understand what I need to do to recreate any of her recipes. I have made a few and I still make them. Such as; Omurice and the Vegetable Pancakes, they are so good! Thank you for showing us everything!
"This kind of kimchi, canned kimchi, when you travel or are in an emergency situation, very useful." Cuz she knows the real emergency = quarantine without kimchi
That is so nice of Korea to take care of the citizens and residents of Korea. It’s also nice of Korea to provide 100 boxes to be given to US residents, way to go Maangchi. 💕
Wonderful way to sample Korean food! Each serving is just the right amount to introduce each dish to us. The review is much appreciated Thank you, Maangchi!
I fell in love with Korean food long ago... but it was you that gave me the confidience to try cooking it more at home. So thank you for making Korean cooking so approachable (and of course, delicious!)
Maangchi's community, please read! UA-cam is planning to remove a very important community feature: captions. Over the years, people have volunteered to submit captions in their own languages for global outreach to viewers of channels like Maangchi who may not understand the default English. If this goes through, all that work will be gone, and the ones running Maangchi's channel will have to provide their own captions in multiple languages all over again. The temporary fix would be to send the scripts directly to Maangchi's contact, so her editor can easily input the captions in the right time frames, but we should also let UA-cam know that removing community captions will hurt the channel and leave non English audiences out.
tignesboy Back in the 2000s a lot of walkthrough and tutorial videos had annotations, and UA-cam removed that feature too. It's been one stupid decision after the other.
They’re not removing captions, the removing the ability for just any ol joe to add captions. Captions are going to still be available, but only specialized parties can add the captions, so anyone not you, or me, or Susan down the street.
tignesboy it’s not just Maangchi, it’s verified parties. So it could be a company that can translate that’s hired by UA-cam. There’s a lot of people who abuse the captioning system, so now it’s only people UA-cam approves of.
tignesboy I think it has its pros and cons. I’m appreciative of it in the fact that the people who provide english captions won’t sit there and add incorrect captions as a joke and make it difficult for those hard of hearing/deaf. But I do agree that it may not cater to all parties which sucks.
I’d love to be able to share a box with my kids, they are adventurous eaters. We are in the USA and my daughter and I are both fans❤️ thank you for all the love and recipes
I'm so happy you made this video. I have been watching your videos for a year with my teenager children. We would love to see more videos like this exploring and explaining about prepackaged options. We have a local Asian store near use but I don't know what to do with half the ingredients.

potato pancake is one of my favorite korean dish ..
That tteokboki alone would make me happy. 🤤
Thank you for being really detailed with the ingredients and explaining what you are making and what your using in the dishes you make. I am enjoying your book which I ordered from amazon. Love the pictures and enjoy a whole new type of cooking
I live across the street from a Korean grocery store, this will help me decide which instant foods to buy, and know how to cook them since the instructions are often only printed in Korean ☺️
That Ottogi black rice is literally my favorite rice on the planet.

Same here. I was stationed in Korea in 1982, and my love for this cuisine hasn't lessened. The best Korean restaurant in my area closed last month, and I'm devastated.
Was there in 1999 at Camp Casey....
hello maangchi... sad that Russians can't receive it, but I'm still enjoying ur videos, thank you for teaching me how to cook ❤️

Ever since I found a local Korean supermarket I have been cooking again. The great thing about Korean food is it can be easy to make thanks to ready made food like rice cakes, fish cakes, premade sauces and others.
I watched you since 2007 when i was 12 and I lived in Vietnam. It’s so great to see you do this cause I finally move to the US for school!!!
Good morning maangchi hope I can taste your noodles. God bless you always
