Congrats Sawyer!!!
congratulations to sawyer, even though i don’t know/remember who he is
YEAH!!
Hi Babish
Hey Andrew, really love your videos
*Who's Sawyer again?*
That’s a real friend,he literally cooked him all his meals ,so he could focus on his new family.
Even better, he shared the video for my entertainment then monetized the whole thing!

Yeah frozen egg, cheese and bread. Beyond my wildest dreams.
@@SpecialJay eh, when your an exhausted new parent simple to reheat, free food is a blessing
I'm not even a parent, just an overworked twentysomething and this is incredibly useful. I hope you can make a few more videos on this topic, for variety's sake.

Prepping helps but sometimes even the prep is a lot lol
You can literally freeze anything. Just change up ingredients

Exactly, I'm 24, working and finishing my degree and I love these kinds of videos.
Forget wedding gifts... This is the real thing a new family needs
Yes!!!
My family's tradition has always been to include a huge family pack of toilet paper with other gifts at weddings and baby stuffs. Not only does it give laughs but it comes in extremely handy and is something we all use up much faster than we think.

Hearing him say that the lasagna is made for one person is probably the most comforting thing I've heard all week
Sometimes you just need to eat an entire (small) lasagna, and that's okay.
Sounded lonely to me....haha
and here i am, thinking one might not be enough for me...then again you do need more than one meal a day right :D
Same! Lasagna is one of my favorite dishes to make, and that always involves making a HUGE pan of it. I don't think I've ever stopped at just one serving (and you got leftovers for days!)

As a busy single father, this type of meal prep is helpful
I know you made this for your friend who has a baby, but I'm saving this vid for the much less nobler "when I can't get myself to go to the grocery store" days. Thank you!!
That's equally valid though! Sometimes doing things is a lot, no shame in making things a little easier on yourself!
that’s actually a really smart idea. Saves money to make the frozen meals yourself, too.
I LOVE the premise behind this video! A friend helping out a new father and being genuinely excited to do so. I think so often society portrays the "My friend has a kid, I guess that's it for hanging out" too much.
the saddest elements of society embrace the negatives of having a child, but a community coming together to support you in any way they can when you have a child is one of the purest forms of love that can be shown

Yes!!!! Please!!!
More like this Please! So many things can be frozen, helping families avoid eating out (especially fast food) and helping us avoid junk food but the details matter, and so many recipes come with Zero advice for freezing, thawing, out reheating. There are tons of fresh meals that can be made faster by bulk production of parts that freeze once a month and grabbing those components for the final through together in a weeknight. It improves nutrition and reduces stress, but so little out there comes with those tips, so you have to experiment on recipes you like. If pros like you started giving tips on make-ahead, freeze-ahead parts... We busy parents would be so thankful!!

One trick I find useful for reheating things in the microwave or oven is to put a small dish with water beside it. The water somewhat steams the food keeping it more moist.
