Right now, my favorite screen recorder is Screencast-o-matic. Thanks for your videos about how teacher videos. They were helpful to me at the start of the pandemic when we suddenly found ourselves teaching online. Now, I'm still using videos even though we're back in the classroom. I'm taking an online course this summer with the Modern Classroom Project about hybrid, self-paced, and mastery-based teaching. A key component is the teacher regularly making instructional videos. Your advice is very helpful. Thanks!
Let them know in advance. When you send out the link to your meeting, include a line that says, "This lecture series is being recorded for your convenience and review later." When you click on the RECORD (then COMPUTER or CLOUD,) the Zoom female voice will say, "Recording in progress," and a banner will block the center of your attendees screens that they will have to click on to agree to being recorded. I have never objected to being recorded, so I cannot answer on how to deny a recorded meeting.
@@susuzuk1sure will lol! As an attendee in many lectures, it literally pops right up front and center. It gives the attendee the option to back out if not ok with being recorded.

Remember that video is your best communication tool for your online classes. Keep it simple!
