You got this teachers! Let me know if you have questions. I'm here to help :)
I suppose online teaching is the best way forward but it has its challenges too. Just shared a couple of them and how to navigate them.
I was going to suggest to send your video to Jimmy Kimmel but, I see you changed it.
Using Airpods could be a bad idea because they run out of charge after a certain time, it depends on how much time you are going to be in the class. Also, I found connection problems using them (don't know why), and using wire earphones I didn't have that problem.
You fooled me, I thought the beginning was it 😂 Thank you
Thanik you today is my first day
An educator with a sense of humor, I love it!!!
You remind me of Anne Heche. RIP
Ashlee - brilliant, thank you. Currently teaching online inclusion classes with teacher educators in Myanmar, after being evacuated. One of my students took part in a class whilst on a bus and another took part whilst they were driving to work (passenger). It’s challenging but wonderful. Thanks again - your energy gave me food for thoughts and made me realise I need to up my game 🤓
I love the ring light but it reflects super weird on my glasses. Do you have any tips about that, Ashlee?
There were some tips that I knew . The lighting tips and the focus on students have been slipping over my head. Thank you for the great info.
Well done, Ashlee! My university recently added a requirement of having instructors hold weekly Zoom meetings with instructors, so I will use most if not all of the tips you provided to make great Zoom sessions with my students. Thank you for the simple yet powerful tips!
Thank you thank you - love your 10 tips, starting teaching transformative art classes online in January and your insights are priceless. I'll be back. XOXOX Blessings and Cheers to you. Love, Light and la;-)ghter in the New Year 2022...
That was pretty cool and casual, and you absolutely got the intended message across at ease. Great video.
I have been watching several of your Canvas tutorials. They are amazingly simple to follow; provide much guidance to new teachers; and your energy makes them pleasant to watch and to stay focused (it doesn't hurt that it also makes the time fly by).
This is only my second video of yours but your intro earned a new sub 🤣🤣 I teach night classes using Canvas & Zoom so I’m looking forward to your videos, thank you!
Oh my goodness I'm DYING... your opening was ON POINT!!! lol
Great video. I wished I found this when I first started in August. Zoom teaching is not the most ideal and it has been stressful as is.
I so agree with looking good and feeling good for zoom sessions. Thanks for the tips!
Thank you for this! My school is now having to do zoom classes so I'm very new to it all! This gives me confidence!
