Hello, Miro! Thanks so much for being here and for taking the time to share your comment. I certainly don't think that makeup is expected or necessary...it just adds a pop of color, especially for the purposes of demonstrating pronunciation with the mouth.

i also teach online and when i show the board/card covering my face is because the card is more important than my face and sometimes the cards or what is written on the board may not be so clear to the students. But, it doesn't mean that i have to be away from the screen for a long time. how to see even with the card/board covering my face? I look from the side, just make sure camera is fully covered by the card/board.
Yes of course, like from your experience....if it is my first day to teach, how to approach that day...how to prepare,,,how to start my class....how to be a beloved and useful informative teacher at the same time....some interesting methods to answer/not answer certain questions....etc

Thank you, that was really great. You explained it so simple.
Aw, thank you for that kind comment! I am happy to have you here, Dolly! Are you an online teacher, too?
Yes, I am. Really didn't know anything about online teaching. Still learning. Been wanting to know, how to add a video to a PE class. Hard to teach PE online.
love this tips. Thanks
Thanks so much, Mary Grace Gahiton! Happy to know that you enjoyed the video!
thanks for this, there was some useful advice....Could you specify your suggestions about make-up...for a potential male online teacher? Mascara, lipstick, eyeliner? As an average male, I do not like "stuff" on my skin...But I do remember my time in student theatre, we had to use the whole shebang.... btw, very innovative intro ..."eeek" ;-)
Hello, Miro! Thanks so much for being here and for taking the time to share your comment. I certainly don't think that makeup is expected or necessary...it just adds a pop of color, especially for the purposes of demonstrating pronunciation with the mouth.
Super helpful 👍
Hi, Thank you a ton for this super helpful video
If I may request, can you please make a video on what are the kick off lessons should be in ENGLISH teaching?
This had been helpful for beginners
and keep up the good work.
Thanks so much, Verna! Are you an online teacher, too?
Not yet but i am trying gathering the resources than might start in future.
@@vernanamadiko7247 Good for you! Have fun!
i also teach online and when i show the board/card covering my face is because the card is more important than my face and sometimes the cards or what is written on the board may not be so clear to the students. But, it doesn't mean that i have to be away from the screen for a long time. how to see even with the card/board covering my face? I look from the side, just make sure camera is fully covered by the card/board.
Cool---thanks for sharing your insight, Elena!
Thank you so much. This video is very helpful

Hi, Adele! Thanks for being here! Where do you teach?
Amazing Kristina. Could u make some vedios on teaching skills in general? Thank you
Ooh, that's an interesting thought! Would you mind sharing more specifics about what you would like to see?
Yes of course, like from your experience....if it is my first day to teach, how to approach that day...how to prepare,,,how to start my class....how to be a beloved and useful informative teacher at the same time....some interesting methods to answer/not answer certain questions....etc
@@saraelsayed3141 Ooh, I love these ideas! Thanks for sharing! I will think more about how to create a helpful video. Feel free to share other ideas!
Hi Christina! I used your referral and you helped me get hired with VIPKid 4 years ago. Thanks so much! Sadly, due to the new AB5 law in certain states I won't be there after this month. I'm transitioning to teaching independently and on Allschool. Your tips are helpful - what webcam are you using? I find my logitech one isn't good enough for art classes because the colors aren't accurate. If you have suggestions I'd love to know! Thanks for the video!!
This helps me a lot. THAAANKS Teacher! 🥰
