Hey there, fellow educators! I'm Ashlee Espinosa, a professor with an MFA in Musical Theatre. I've been teaching online at the collegiate level for almost a decade, alongside offering virtual teaching and coaching in my own courses independently. I understand how challenging it can be to transition from in-person to virtual teaching, whether it's asynchronous, synchronous, or a hybrid model. Navigating Canvas LMS, Zoom, virtual lectures, and even hosting your own independent courses can be tough at first, so I'm here to help you feel confident and cool.
How to Survive Online Teaching
Feeling overwhelmed with teaching online? Ready to throw that computer at the wall and watch it smash into a million little pieces? Before you do that, let me share with you how to go from surviving to possibly even thriving with online teaching.
Surviving online teaching is more than just new teacher problems. These tips are the best ways to get started teaching online or honestly just best practices no matter how long you’ve been remote teaching. Moving your class online requires additional self-care for teachers because most of the time there are very little resources available to assist with the transition.

To find the timers, try searching under the DESIGN tab on the top left (and then Templates). If you search for them under the Elements tab, they don't seem to show up. This could change of course.
