I don't know. 4 probably. It's pretty dang loud. Ppl all over ask me what's all done to it cause it's super loud. I hear and see other 7.3s. But mine sounds the sexiest. I think the shorter distance makes it louder.
yea just take off the muffler and youll always be able to hear the turbo i added a 10in stack on mine going from the original 3.5 in pipe to a 5in pipe and it sounds great
There’s 2 clean ass crew cabs for sale in a small ass town an hour east of Austin tx on rd 290 going to Houston. They farm trucks too. White one long bed had 160k miles & the tan one short bed w 2 inch leveling kit had 140k. Tan one was the cleanest 7.3 I ever seen, everything was impeccable man just seen them yesterday

Where do you find a 5 speed crew cab long bed i cant find any here in arizona it sucks because i want a crewcab for space inside and i love having the long bed and i like to control my gears but i might sadly have to go with the lazy style automatic

First you buy a 7.3 POWERSTROKE! Lol. My truck is completely straight piped from the turbo. As far as I know with a straight piped 7.3 powerstroke thars completely normal?.

The crew cab 7.3 5 speed OBS are a hard find. You'll be lucky to find one that's not Beat with lower miles. I seen a nice one on eBay. Was 30.000$.

how do you get the turbo blow whistle on idle? i cant find an answer anywhere
Brandon Ford exhaust pressure moves the turbine wheel in the turbo. Obs's have a small turbo so it doesn't take much to spin it.

Just put brand new 385/70-16s on her.

I saw a video where this kid removed a "turbo suppressor ring" but it's only on dodges my bad lol.

what is done to the engine to get your turbo spining at idle ?
Mine is the same just straight pipe it that'll do the job 4 inch all the way
as long as the motor is running your turbo is spinning. the cat and muffler delete just enhances the sound
