I’LL SEE YA IN THE NEXT ONE
Good to see a young guy so enthusiastic about the ol 7.3.
6.0 sounds awesome and is fast as hell. But I think I'll keep my 7.3 for life. Actually, I have no choice since I have 30 grand in my truck 😂
Looks like it's time for a bigger turbo and injectors for you!
so glad to see this done sounds killer
Sounds good I did a MBRP 5 inch turbo back on mine sounds much deeper. If I can make a suggestion though I’d cut the tail pipe and put that muffler a little further back
Did a muffler delete on my 7.3 after 10 hours of owning it sounds awesome not loud enough for me though haha
Do a 5 inch turbo back
Sounds great man. It reminded me of when i heard mine for the first time👍
Yess bro it’s so nice
About time man!
You shoulda had them for put the exhaust tip in a proper position too instead of sticking out like a sore thumb
Working on it
Your neighbors hate you but sounds good
Definitely sounds better now!
... Question on a completely unrelated topic: what size tires, wheels and offset did you run? Looks really good! Any lift needed to clear steering, etc?
Thanks for the videos! Recently got an 01, so I'm learning lots about the 7.3. Great trucks! 🙌
Thanks man running 20x10 fuel Mavericks with 35x12.5 mirror ridge grapple tires
And I added an extra leaf spring in the front to give it a 2 inch lift
Just bought my first diesel and its a 7.3. I hope it lasts me well (only has 136,000 miles)
Dont really know its history too much but just subbed to your channel bro
Still up and running bro ? What’s the update
@@Realofficialdee currently not running bro. She was doing fine, then I changed the fuel filter and it hasn’t ran since (no clue what problem is. Not air in lines.)
Over the months ive spent thousands on this truck thta has clearly been abused and neglected majorly and may be beyond saving. Fuel was full of dirt grim, and intake and old turbo was full of absolute mud and grime. Long story short, shes never been treated right in her 22 year old life.
@@michaelmyers2091 you checked the ICP IPR sensors ?
@@Realofficialdee
Oh yea. I have new OEM sensors, a new OEM wiring harness, put in a 38r turbo (since factory one was dusted) fuel tank mods, etc. everything on scan tool is reading what it should.
I even unplugged glowplugs and hit it with ether and still didn’t pop off. Idk bro, not looking good. The crazy thing is it was running AMAZING for a month (used to have an intermittent stalling issue that no mechanic around here could figure out.) it just cranks and puffs white smoke from exhaust. I’ve even been talking personally with bayou diesel about it (you should check him out if you are into 7.3 content)
Sounds better. Pull that tip in some though ha.
We’re workin go on it
Finally!!! Do you feel any difference in performance?
Not really man just the turbo whistle is insane!
I’m looking for a local shop to do this. Any ideas in the Austin temple area?
Damn, it looks like your head can fit into that tip lol.
It can and I’m gonna get a 10 inch with the new turbo back
Get the 5 inch Mbrp, total difference.
What is the 5in Mbrp?? Does it make the whistle louder?
@@grandpapops6692 it’s a 5 inch turbo back exhaust and yes
whats your wheel setup
7.3s are like a dirty strippah😝 expensive but nevah let's you down😝
What the fuck kinda person puts an exhaust tip like a foot out the side of the truck? Wtf
