7.3 powerstroke new push rods intake extremely noisy

Removed all of the pushrods that I had just installed and I heard a pop from the cylinder number eight. reinstalled the straight push rod in that same rocker and the engine is running fine now

Would probably check those valves. Sounds like intake valve not closing all the way
