- Soup to nuts of my truck build. Lots of time money and frustration went into this thing. And I couldn’t have done it without the help of my dad, my girlfriend, and my good friend Billy. Hope you all enjoy it! 1997 7.3 Powerstroke 4x4 Turbo Diesel
This is the definition of "when you do it right nobody will even notice." This is a truck to be proud of awesome job.
100%. This is one of those “if you know, you know” builds
I love it when people restore these old trucks. Especially when they make them STOCK and don’t mod the hell out of them. Great looking truck.
I don't care what the offer is, don't ever sell this. This is now a generational truck for the family. Unreal job, bro. Absolutely beautiful.
Love this build man. Shoutout to you for not cutting corners and using oem parts where absolutely necessary such as the oil cooler
Any sensor or hard part I replace on the engine I try to use motorcraft. Still on the hunt for a new A/C compressor
Have you tried Pensacola diesel?
@@KX250Frider4 I wouldn’t buy a air filter from Pensacola lol
@@ROELKEY2442 can I ask why? Was gonna get new hardlines from them for my idi, new ones I got from accuratediesel were shitty
@@jadinzack9271 have heard a lot of bad things about their 7.3 injectors
A true american beauty
One of the nicer OBS Rebuilds, you went all out, I didn't expect to see this much work, very impressed.
The finished product is "bring-a-Trailer" Ready! Wowzers! 🤑😛
Wow, you literally touched every nut and bolt on that thing. Truly impressive.
My buddy just sent me this video I just got home from Texas with a blue Eddie Bauer f150 that I'm gonna do the same exact thing with as this video for my 95 power stroke
I appreciate the music and the pictures. It just shows me that there isn't any instant fixes and you have to put in the time and the resources to get it done right. I am in a journey of sorts myself with an 2003 Jeep Cherokee.
That’s insane, some people rebuilt motors, others rebuilt transmissions. This guy rebuilt the whole truck inside and out!!! Kudos to you man, seriously!!
You sir get my appreciation, thats looked like a long road of blood sweat and tears, the absolute cleanest 7.3 I have ever seen!
I’m a Chevy guy but these old fords just last and always ready to work
That’s something to be proud of man. Hell of a job you did
That first start was amazing. Great job documenting all the incredible work you did. That truck came out AWESOME!
That build is awesome! Great job
I can't tell you how much I loved this build. Simple, nothing crazy and really did quality work and paid attention to the details to preserve it. Absolutely fantastic, I am so jealous!
I'm just blown away. You are a true craftsman! It took a tremendous amount of skill and patience for this! I actually have the exact truck I purchased new in May of 1997. Still runs and drives fantastic. I know you are going to get a lot of enjoyment out of your truck. There is just nothing like a 7.3. Thanks a lot for taking the time to post this. I enjoyed watching it immensely!!!
always been a idea in my head to do this, not in the place to do it right now but its really cool to see someone else make it happen.
Wow, what an awesome job you done on the restoration. That truck looks freaking amazing, great build!
i'm saving this and watching it every time I need the motivation to start fixing up my 92 f350, amazing transformation, beautiful results
Sweet rig!! I've got a 2001 f2shity 7.tree Michigan truck all original with 720 thousand miles...works construction and plowed every winter of its life...still stroking and purrs like a kitten 😸... 13 letter shitspreader INTERNATIONAL best diesel ever made...I've been driving it for 22 years now!! Mint!!
Sick build! Big respect to you for doing it right from the frame up. That dull paint buffed out so clean, too. Nice work, you're right to take pride in it!
Totally fascinating to see that kind of dedication, that gives frame off restoration a whole new meaning. Great skills to remember and figure out where everything went.
Amazingly well done job! I can't imagine the hours it took but you are going to enjoy the effort reward for a LONG time!
Man what a build. Hats off to you bud. Awesome truck!!!
Such a clean build!! Not gunna lie, whole time I was like “omg is he gonna change the f150 emblem on the fender” and then it was magically on there 😅😂
What a wonderful job. Yall ended up with a beautiful truck. Blessings!
Beautiful work man!! Love the truck! Makes me motivated to work on my old 7.3 again
Impressive build! Huge inspiration for a upcoming restoration of my car! Kudos for being so thorough and careful! Really really beautiful truck!
Beautiful truck ! Stock rims and little larger tires look great 👍🏻
You gave that thing a second opportunity at life! Well done sir, super clean and detailed throughout the entire build 👍🏽
Incredible job. What a beautiful truck you have now.
This brought a smile to my face. *GREAT JOB!*
Wow! That’s an awesome build. Man I love those OBS fords. Great job sir.
You guys are doing gods work!!
Revive those beautiful old girls!!
Man I miss my 7.3!!!
Your video never gets old for me. I've watched it about 5 times already hands down my favorite one on the old web. Great job sir. Keep up the good work.
dude. wow. what an incredible build. incredible truck. you SHOULD be proud of yourself. congrats.
Very sharp, all the time you put in paid off
Wow... I'm proud to be an OBS owner... now I know there's hope for my 7.3 under the hood! AWESOME TRUCK/AWESOME BUILD!
I have seen a lot of build videos, and this one is truly at the top. The attention to detail, can-do attitude, not cutting corners, and love you poured into this truck gave it a new soul.
Absolutely phenomenal.
Not sure how this ended up in my feed but I happily watched the whole thing. Great work, that truck is a beast!
Thank you for sharing you done a great job in bringing her back to it's former glory .
Well done! That Ford generation is still my favorite truck of all time. My dad had a 1993 with the 300 6. Was awesome!
What a truck! I salute you, and respect you for the time and work you put in that project. You gave new life to a tough, beautiful modern classic truck. It was those tipes of trucks that was more of a work companion than a vehicle, and a country was build on the back of those trucks. Bravo sir, love from South Africa 😁 👍🏻
Amazing job. Had a 97 single cab 5spd. Miss it every day
Incredible rig done right. Excellent taste...congrats!
Beautiful truck. I love seeing OBS Fords still rolling on the stock Alcoa wheels, and not some idiotic bro-dawg 24s hanging a foot out the sides with skinny little rubberband tires.
I've got two pacific green/medium mocha Eddie Bauer trucks. A 1996 reg cab short bed 4x4 with the 351w and E4OD, my mint condition "summer truck", and a 1995 reg cab long bed 4x4 with the 300 inline 6 and M5OD, my beatup "winter truck". Living in Iowa means you can't drive anything nice for like 6 months out of the year when the salt is out
now this is a true build. complete frame off and everything i wish i could do something like this. Its so much more impressive than the basic wheels tires and lift type "builds". Freakin awesome dude good job
Holy hell man, if you had seen this on the road you would never know how much time you put into it... congrats dude!
Great truck! A lot of work but it paid off for sure. I have a ‘96 250 ext cab long bed with the 7.3. I love it and it gets compliments everywhere I drive it.
Wow, so much talent incredible building. Incredible video. Thanks for sharing.
This guy deserves a huge pat on the back! This was a insane build! Great job man!
Wow! Just had to watch the whole video! Looks amazing! You and your dad did a great job! I know he is very proud of you! Hope y'all enjoy it!
My old man helped me put the trans in, put the body on, helped me line up the fenders, and helped me fire it up for the first time but other than that it was all me! He’s definately proud for sure!
Great job. Love the visibility these obs trucks have. I'm a GM guy but have always had a ford in my menu of cars at home. I currently have 2 ford's, 2 gmc, 2 toyotas, and 1 Dodge. Greetings from California.
This is easily one of the most beautiful trucks I’ve ever seen
Awesome. Love to see the upfitted trim on the old ones. OEM+
Things freakin sweet! OBS fords are so awesome, I'd love to have one. Great that you picked em both up for $1800
Beautifully done sir! Hard work pays off.
Good to see another maryland OBS ford that's taken care off and done right!! Ive done the frame, suspension, tires, lift, interior and new motor on mine. I'm almost to the body now 😂
Bad ass build, one of the cleanest obs trucks around…
My kind of dude. Love for the ford brand and I like how you kept it a usable truck after the restoration. Looks good brother!
I'm so impressed. I would've painted my frame a unique color just because I would have put all that work in haha. Very nice work
That's a bad ass truck. Great video. Fun to watch. Thanks for sharing!
Unbelievable work and determination, beautiful build Henry Ford would be Damn Proud of this work.
Looks absolutely amazing. Love how it turned out with the red.
You are not afraid of a project! Great vision and stick to it-ness. Great vid edit too. Well doc'd.
This is amazing. Even if I had the time and ability to do this, not only would it not start up the first time...that dome light DEFINITELY would not have come on.
Incredible job. This truck will be around longer than anyting you can buy off the lot today
Sweet! I have my dads old 96 F350 PowerStroke - 88Kmiles but she needs resto. Definitely going to take some pointers from your build - Great Truck Brother!!
Beautiful truck! Love the sound of diesel in the morning!!
You did so much work but man did that turn out beautifully. Awesome truck and restoration.
This is my dream build, great job!!
Love these trucks they are so rare here this build is phenomenal no corner cutting no imperfections simply beautiful Love all the way from Russia
I got a 98 for 800 bucks put about 2200$ into it and that thing runs better than my 2018 ram does most of the time! Good oll trucks
Awesome build man, you did a fantastic job.
Makes me want to get back working on mine. Fantastic job man!
Awesome job! Hats off to you my friend. That is one bada**, and beautiful truck!
Wow! Great job!
That may be the only 1997 eddie bauer ever made.
When i ordered my 97 f250hd 7.3 new, only the xl and xlt models were available in the northeast. I wanted an eddie bauer like my 96 bronco but it wasnt available. Thats the best pick up ever made!
I refreshed the front half of mine last summer. The D60 swap was probably the best thing I ever did to my truck. Gonna do the back half next summer. Great job. Thanks for making the video.
You did that truck proud. Hope to be able to do the same someday.
Beautiful job, Geoffrey. I'd be proud to own and drive that
This is the coolest truck build ive ever seen, FORD BUILT TOUGH ! 🤠
Sweet truck and a nice reward for all your hard work!! Great video!!

Awesome build. Much respect
I’m currently restoring my 93 idi turbo right now it’s just a frame about to get sandblasted and painted can’t wait till she is back on the road!!
Nice job man. Looks tasteful and factory. Lovin' that turbo upgrade! Can't wait to do mine someday. That second gear is nasty. Hell yeah
Nice truck - great video! Congratulations on your build.
Not a Ford guy by any means but I love these old OBS trucks, and the 7.3 is just amazing. You outdid yourself on this one.
You left me chills bro this is incredible I’m speechless great job WOW

You did a great job on that nice work!
Like brand new, love the paint job
That beast would look even better with the chrome window vents and the big chrome mirrors...maybe the bug guard. Sick af though man, congratulations!

Love the name, beautiful truck with power to match, great burnout at the end
