My buddy just sent me this video I just got home from Texas with a blue Eddie Bauer f150 that I'm gonna do the same exact thing with as this video for my 95 power stroke
That’s insane, some people rebuilt motors, others rebuilt transmissions. This guy rebuilt the whole truck inside and out!!! Kudos to you man, seriously!!
I have seen a lot of build videos, and this one is truly at the top. The attention to detail, can-do attitude, not cutting corners, and love you poured into this truck gave it a new soul. Absolutely phenomenal.
I'm just blown away. You are a true craftsman! It took a tremendous amount of skill and patience for this! I actually have the exact truck I purchased new in May of 1997. Still runs and drives fantastic. I know you are going to get a lot of enjoyment out of your truck. There is just nothing like a 7.3. Thanks a lot for taking the time to post this. I enjoyed watching it immensely!!!
Hands down my favorite Ford truck (of the modern era, at least): 1997, 4x4, Powerstroke, standard cab, stock aluminum wheels with the round holes, and a 5spd manual. I like white, but as long as it possesses everything I mentioned, it’s a gem. Thanks for sharing.
What a truck! I salute you, and respect you for the time and work you put in that project. You gave new life to a tough, beautiful modern classic truck. It was those tipes of trucks that was more of a work companion than a vehicle, and a country was build on the back of those trucks. Bravo sir, love from South Africa 😁 👍🏻
Totally fascinating to see that kind of dedication, that gives frame off restoration a whole new meaning. Great skills to remember and figure out where everything went.
Good to see another maryland OBS ford that's taken care off and done right!! Ive done the frame, suspension, tires, lift, interior and new motor on mine. I'm almost to the body now 😂
Beautiful truck. I love seeing OBS Fords still rolling on the stock Alcoa wheels, and not some idiotic bro-dawg 24s hanging a foot out the sides with skinny little rubberband tires. I've got two pacific green/medium mocha Eddie Bauer trucks. A 1996 reg cab short bed 4x4 with the 351w and E4OD, my mint condition "summer truck", and a 1995 reg cab long bed 4x4 with the 300 inline 6 and M5OD, my beatup "winter truck". Living in Iowa means you can't drive anything nice for like 6 months out of the year when the salt is out
I appreciate the music and the pictures. It just shows me that there isn't any instant fixes and you have to put in the time and the resources to get it done right. I am in a journey of sorts myself with an 2003 Jeep Cherokee.
Friend: I wish for you to know this: Christ is the people's savior, and no one is their own savior; Most people ( including “Christians” are not on the straight and narrow path that leads to eternal life, but on the broad road that leads to hell; Good people do not go to heaven, but forgiven sinners do; those forgiven sinners are only those who are in the faith of Christ Himself, not those who live by the "bible rulebook", but those who obtain their righteousness in the One who makes righteous, through faith- Friends BELIEVE in JESUS to wash YOUR SINS CLEAN- and then REPENT your sins! Faith and repentance come in the same basket, or there is no salvation; Only by the name of Jesus the Christ the Son of God do we have a route of entry into the kingdom of Heaven. Enter into that perfect peace and oneness with God through Jesus the Narrow Gate, the Life, the Good Shepherd, the rock (foundation). We acquire righteousness unto salvation, through our faith in the Savior Christ ( roughly can be swapped out with the word trust ) alone. But faith that is true, and saves a person, is not fruitless ( non-productive ). That natural fruit of an apple tree is an apple, the natural fruit of a pear tree is a pear, and the natural fruit of saving faith is repentance and the Holy Spirit indwelling a true believer ( being a believer is not just believing in the existence of God, or in the existence of Jesus and going to Church on sundays, but being transformed and renewed as a creature by the faith of the Gospel ( the Gospel is the “good news”, of Jesus's death and resurrection to win salvation for believers ) This is no game, and this hopefully was a very convicting read; this is a very summarized version of what you can read in Matthew, Mark, Luke, John- May Christ be with you 🩷
Love the way you put this video together. Nothing flashy. Straight to the point. Sweet truck man! Edit: I was laughing at 18:20 when the fuel gauge was dropping so fast. She's thirsty!
Your video never gets old for me. I've watched it about 5 times already hands down my favorite one on the old web. Great job sir. Keep up the good work.
Sick build! Big respect to you for doing it right from the frame up. That dull paint buffed out so clean, too. Nice work, you're right to take pride in it!
My old man helped me put the trans in, put the body on, helped me line up the fenders, and helped me fire it up for the first time but other than that it was all me! He’s definately proud for sure!
Wow! Great job! That may be the only 1997 eddie bauer ever made. When i ordered my 97 f250hd 7.3 new, only the xl and xlt models were available in the northeast. I wanted an eddie bauer like my 96 bronco but it wasnt available. Thats the best pick up ever made! I refreshed the front half of mine last summer. The D60 swap was probably the best thing I ever did to my truck. Gonna do the back half next summer. Great job. Thanks for making the video.
Great job. Love the visibility these obs trucks have. I'm a GM guy but have always had a ford in my menu of cars at home. I currently have 2 ford's, 2 gmc, 2 toyotas, and 1 Dodge. Greetings from California.
This is amazing. Even if I had the time and ability to do this, not only would it not start up the first time...that dome light DEFINITELY would not have come on.
now this is a true build. complete frame off and everything i wish i could do something like this. Its so much more impressive than the basic wheels tires and lift type "builds". Freakin awesome dude good job
Great truck! A lot of work but it paid off for sure. I have a ‘96 250 ext cab long bed with the 7.3. I love it and it gets compliments everywhere I drive it.
Beautiful truck man. That’s how you do it. You can’t beat a Ford truck and I’ve had Fords and Chevrolets. I love my Chevys too, but you can’t beat a Ford Truck.
Sweet! I have my dads old 96 F350 PowerStroke - 88Kmiles but she needs resto. Definitely going to take some pointers from your build - Great Truck Brother!!
18:16 great job on the truck!!! It was funny to watch the fuel gauge shoot to E on the acceleration lol. Great job. You shouldn’t have any problems out if that!
This is the definition of "when you do it right nobody will even notice." This is a truck to be proud of awesome job.
100%. This is one of those “if you know, you know” builds
I don't care what the offer is, don't ever sell this. This is now a generational truck for the family. Unreal job, bro. Absolutely beautiful.
Love this build man. Shoutout to you for not cutting corners and using oem parts where absolutely necessary such as the oil cooler
Any sensor or hard part I replace on the engine I try to use motorcraft. Still on the hunt for a new A/C compressor
Have you tried Pensacola diesel?
@@KX250Frider4 I wouldn’t buy a air filter from Pensacola lol
@@ROELKEY2442 can I ask why? Was gonna get new hardlines from them for my idi, new ones I got from accuratediesel were shitty
@@jadinzack9271 have heard a lot of bad things about their 7.3 injectors

I love it when people restore these old trucks. Especially when they make them STOCK and don’t mod the hell out of them. Great looking truck.
Agreed stock stands out these days.
Wow, you literally touched every nut and bolt on that thing. Truly impressive.
One of the nicer OBS Rebuilds, you went all out, I didn't expect to see this much work, very impressed.
The finished product is "bring-a-Trailer" Ready! Wowzers! 🤑😛
That’s insane, some people rebuilt motors, others rebuilt transmissions. This guy rebuilt the whole truck inside and out!!! Kudos to you man, seriously!!
You sir get my appreciation, thats looked like a long road of blood sweat and tears, the absolute cleanest 7.3 I have ever seen!
I’m a Chevy guy but these old fords just last and always ready to work

A true american beauty
i'm saving this and watching it every time I need the motivation to start fixing up my 92 f350, amazing transformation, beautiful results

Wow... I'm proud to be an OBS owner... now I know there's hope for my 7.3 under the hood! AWESOME TRUCK/AWESOME BUILD!
Abosutpey gorgeous. Gives younger ppl like me a glimpse of what these trucks looked like when they were first made. Also maryland babyyyyy!

Dang man that looks amazing! Great looking pickup! You did awesome
Not sure how this ended up in my feed but I happily watched the whole thing. Great work, that truck is a beast!
Holy hell man, if you had seen this on the road you would never know how much time you put into it... congrats dude!

Lol that’s the fuel rushing away from the sending unit. It comes back. Never quite as far though 😂😂😂
You gave that thing a second opportunity at life! Well done sir, super clean and detailed throughout the entire build 👍🏽
Not a Ford guy by any means but I love these old OBS trucks, and the 7.3 is just amazing. You outdid yourself on this one.
You are not afraid of a project! Great vision and stick to it-ness. Great vid edit too. Well doc'd.

Impressive build! Huge inspiration for a upcoming restoration of my car! Kudos for being so thorough and careful! Really really beautiful truck!
MD needs more well built obs fords. Congrats man, and excellent work!
My kind of dude. Love for the ford brand and I like how you kept it a usable truck after the restoration. Looks good brother!
Things freakin sweet! OBS fords are so awesome, I'd love to have one. Great that you picked em both up for $1800
Sick build! Big respect to you for doing it right from the frame up. That dull paint buffed out so clean, too. Nice work, you're right to take pride in it!

Awesome build man, it doesn't even need all that power to be cool
Love these trucks they are so rare here this build is phenomenal no corner cutting no imperfections simply beautiful Love all the way from Russia
Well done! That Ford generation is still my favorite truck of all time. My dad had a 1993 with the 300 6. Was awesome!

Great job. Love the visibility these obs trucks have. I'm a GM guy but have always had a ford in my menu of cars at home. I currently have 2 ford's, 2 gmc, 2 toyotas, and 1 Dodge. Greetings from California.
I got a 98 for 800 bucks put about 2200$ into it and that thing runs better than my 2018 ram does most of the time! Good oll trucks
Beautiful work man!! Love the truck! Makes me motivated to work on my old 7.3 again
This is amazing. Even if I had the time and ability to do this, not only would it not start up the first time...that dome light DEFINITELY would not have come on.
This might be the coolest thing I’ve ever seen
You did that truck proud. Hope to be able to do the same someday.
I'm so impressed. I would've painted my frame a unique color just because I would have put all that work in haha. Very nice work
Beautiful truck sir, you did a great job on it!
