I have to admit, I almost gave up on me preparing pork chops, they will usually turn out dry and just not that good. HOWEVER, The Lord sent me to your channel and I tried your method. I will not stray, or turn back to my old wicked pork chop cooking ways!! I'm a BELIEVER! Your method make your chops turn out juicy and tender! Never will I go back!! Thank you!!

I then coated both sides with the BBQ sauce and broiled them for 3 minutes a side. I let them rest for 6 minutes and proceeded to having the best pork chops ever...

It was a success! I tried this recipe last night at the last minute. Chops turned out tender for the amount of preparation time I had, but could've been more tender if I pulled them out sooner to let them marinate in the seasoning. I used the meat mallet to tenderize them and the only thing I did different was brushed the chops with olive oil prior to seasoning along with using different seasoning. Good taste will try again. Thanks!

When applying seasoning do it from farther away. Think of it as a hose on jet setting. If ur next to the plant its compact just like if ur season to close u get spots with lots of seasoning and others with none. If u hold the hose up then the over the distance the watwr seperates and covers more area just like seasoning 🧂

I continued broiling last 10 minutes at the same temperature. It wasn't browning, so I broiled more and increased the temperature. Steaks turned out to be very watery and tasted like boiled rubber. I later chopped them finely and "utelised" them to make fried rice. Disappointing experience :(

You gotta give Turkey another try. I felt the same way (us Haitians don’t do dry meat.) until some told me to cook it in an oven bag. Stuff it with an orange and some herbs, mix you up an herb butter and rub it under the skin, use a flavor injector, the creole butter kind, season the outside and throw that bad boy in a bag and let it roast. It’ll change your mind about turkey.

That looks really good. I'm trying this tonight with Caribbean dry rub jerk seasoning (store bought) and Caribbean jerk bbq sauce (also store bought) Eating good in the hood tonight.

Do you flip them over halfway through cooking?

Hiii, super excited to try this. I’m curious- is the island vibe seasoning the same as island spice jerk seasoning? Or is it a customized seasoning blend that you make?

Always brine turkey so that it comes out moist and deep fry it, it’s so good and moist that way

I watched the video and wrote down the ingredients as it played. Went shopping and came home, diving right into the recipe. They came out looking like the image of the video, but was salty as sea water. I took a peek at the transcript and saw that the island seasoning was 1 tbsp, not 2 as shown in the video. And island seasoning is really salty. Did I get something wrong?

To save the recipe, my chef friend took the pork chops and boiled them for about five minutes. Then he microwaved blue cheese in smart balance with two tbsps water and poured it over the pork chops. He wrapped them in foil, and at 350, he baked them again for 20 minutes. They retained some salt from before but just enough, and the sauce redeemed everything. Good base recipe, I just needed to use my head on my personal preferences with salt.

BBQ and just a bit of brown sugar and a couple drops of any kind of mustard flavor in the end. Excellent recipe. Thank you

This looks delicious. My chops are already marinating in mojo, or I'd try this tonight. I'll be trying it soon though.
