- I've been rocking extra short nails lately. Between tending to my baby, all the bottle washing, and just lack of self personal time - every attempt to grow my nails out has been a pretty big fail. However, I'm determined to get some length on these guys. So after a couple of recent breaks, I decided to cut them down as much as I could and get back into a good gel routine! ◡̈
Polishing short nails can be tricky, so here are a couple of my tricks for a perfect short nail manicure at home. ENJOY! XO

❤ Thank you so much as I just had to cut mine really short due to breakage, peeling etc due to the elements. This time of year my nails always suffer after months of winter cold and dry heat with low humidity. Really needed this video to feel better about my little nubs 😉
Aww this time of year is so tough on nails! Mine always thrive in the Summer and need a little more attention in the Winter. But the shorties are a fun change! We're all rocking them together! XO
I had a really bad break during my travels recently, and didn’t have the proper tools on hand to fix the break so I was forced to cut my nails down really short. It’s refreshing to have short nails and I love dark colors on shorties.
How do you cap short nails without getting polish on the skin?
Always love your nail videos, they are always so therapeutic! A friendly tip, make sure you remove the flooded edges with a brush dipped in acetone so you don't end up getting a gel allergy/dermitits. Last, have you tried DND gel polishes? They are my absolute favorite brand of gels, and this is coming from long time Gelish fan!
