    MOST STRAIGHTFORWARD AND HELPFUL VIDEO.
    My nails are currently super short and I always have a problem with them completely peeling off the day after I paint them with gel. It’s super annoying. But I’m definitely going to try this technique. Thanks so so much!! I love that you got straight to the point. Just subscribed :)

    • @abetweene
      @abetweene  9 років тому

      dangerouslyloved16 The gel polish in bottles tends to be a bit thinner, so they're easier to work with especially if your a beginner.

    • @abetweene
      @abetweene  5 років тому

      Hi! While I wouldn’t recommend this exact brush you can use any flat gel brush such as the ageha #1 brush, or similar from CND, Cheri, Presto, etc. Also the gel I’m using comes in a pot/jar instead of a bottle, so it doesn’t include a brush. The consistency is also sometimes much thicker, so you need a certain type of brush to have more control.

      Kahiwa Hookano clear gel is suitable for base coat, but varies as a top coat sometimes. it may not have the same shine or wearabilty. It all depends on the product and if its marketed as a two in one.

    would you discourage gel for really thin nails? I grow mine out and then they tend to get so super thin... do you think it would do me a disservice? (I've heard it can be damaging) but I really want to get into it!

    • @abetweene
      @abetweene  9 років тому

      Lily Alexandra i think you can still try it as long as you stick to a product thats VERY easy to remove. Use soak off gels Only. Gelish is pretty simple for me, however i would discourage using a coarse file to remove the shine when prepping your nails for gel. Use the finest grit you can, preferably a sponge file in at least a 200 grit
