Hi mama just wanted to say you’re doing AMAZING! ❤❤ I had my baby girl on 12/23. I also had a really challenging labor and delivery. I’m going to talk to someone about it because I’m worried I’ll get triggered when I have our second baby. You look amazing and if sounds like your partner is so supportive like mine. It makes such a difference! 😊 Hearing your experience is so nice because I’m the only one who has a newborn in my life (my friend isn’t due until May). I’ve gotten really nice things from H&M. I think they’ve stepped up their game.
Aww congratulations to you!!!! A true Christmas baby! ◡̈ The whole L&D experience was so different than I imagined and I can totally understand being triggered. I can't even begin to think about #2 and still shiver at the thought of some of the things that went down. But everyone says each delivery experience is soo different so I guess that's promising haha. It's all just wild. Definitely consider talking to someone - it can't hurt. I'm so glad you have a supportive partner. I couldn't begin to imagine not having Dans help and support. My heart just goes out to single Moms, it's a LOT. How fun to have a baby friend on the way - it's great to have Mom friends! ...& thank you for the rec, I'll check out H&M!! ◡̈
@@AmandaBellaa we invested in the snoo just this week bc our baby is not a great sleeper ! I’m amazed at how much it helps. Hope your family is still doing well
I have had 3 csections! You can bounce back for sure it just takes time. Do core work for sure to strengthen and help yourself heal internally. I was able to get in better shape than I was before my kids! I used running to help and found that I actually love to run and now still do it daily! Having babies is a pain like no other, congratulations Amanda!

Hi Amanda! You are such a beautiful Momma! I bet sweet Cameron is thinking he hit the jackpot in the Mommy department! :) So sorry your delivery was problematic. It happens....sigh.... but it doesn't mean a future birth will be. So glad you're nursing. I absolutely loved it. I've missed you! So happy for you all! And be sure to tell your Mom that being a grandparent is the best! ( she already knows though) Hugs!!!!!!
Thank you so much! That's so sweet! I'm definitely the lucky one! ◡̈ It was quite the experience, but so so worth it. I couldn't help but think about women back in the day who had no drugs or anything ahh I can't even imagine. I'm so grateful for modern medicine ...and all of the amazing doctors and nurses. I'm just so happy he made it here safely! Ohh my Mom is in her glory (and my Dad)! They sneak by to see him (&help me out) all the time. So thankful for them and happy for Cameron - he's the luckiest little guy. He has 4 really great grandparents and the best aunties & uncles! XO

my labor was the same... her hand came down the canal, tucked under her chin & got stuck. ended up with a C too. beautiful, congrats
Oh gosh! It’s wild how labor can be so out of our control. All that matters is that baby & Mom are ok! It’s all worth it in the end. Thank you 🩵🩵
I also had to have a c section after being in labor and it was not at all what I wanted. I was so emotional for at least a month after so those feelings are totally normal! I now feel better about it but it was rough for a while. So don’t feel discouraged if every now and again you feel sad about it. Just feel your feels and move on. Of course it’s important that you and the baby were safe but your experience also mattered. Congratulations on your baby and I am so happy for you!
I went through a similar delivery with my oldest. I was in labor 23 hours, pushing for 2 hours and he wasn’t coming out so I had to have a C-section and I also felt I was a failure. I remember my mom telling me after he was born “You did a great job” she knew how I was feeling. He will be 21 this year! It goes by so fast. The days are long but the years are short. Congrats!
Oh wow! Very similar - it was definitely a bit of a letdown, but I really went in with no plan other than get this baby here safely! Sounds like you have a great Mama! I'm totally understanding 'the days are long/years are short' saying lately. He's already getting soo big! :(

I follow you on Instagram & I remember seeing the photo of you still pregnant in front of your tree, which is a beautiful photo. I hope you are resting & enjoying time with your baby. Congratulations! Be kind to yourself. Take the time to recover and get into your groove. Shopping has changed so much...Online shopping is a blessing! I often times order the same item in a few sizes because I'm not sure what will fit, keep what works, send the rest back. Enjoy your son and being a mom, there's nothing as impactful of bringing a new life into the world!

Oh my! What a journey. Congratulations on little Cameron! Please don't even gauge your pain tolerance with labor! The quality of that pain is just so indescribable. I'm so glad you followed your instincts! C-section does not equal failure - if anything, recovery from C-section is a huge hurdle to overcome. You had a baby! Baby did well! When it comes to birthing and motherhood, there is no trophy. The village is so important, raising kids was never meant to be a single or even double person job. You can't take care of baby without taking care of yourself, so plenty of fluids and good food for mommy! I breastfed (pumped milk for a year, phew) my first, and formula fed my second, and there has been absolutely no difference in their health or development, so give yourself as much grace as you need to feel good. So glad you were able to find the time to check in and mani helped you feel refreshed! Thanks for the updates!

Another side note: Saw the Voesh pedicure kit at the drugstore this week and thought of you ❤ I would have bought it but they only had lavender scent left and I’m not a lavender fan 😅 I’m gonna check another store across town!
Haha thank you!! This is about as put together as I can get these days, but it feels good to get ready even just a little bit. I have heard some things about minimizers and milk supply - I'll have to keep looking into it - I just need something to hold the girls in place haha.
Congratulations! Motherhood is a very rewarding stage in life. I'd say you don't have to hide your little guy but he doesn't have to be the main focus. I'd say keep your channel focused on nails, adult life and your new style as a mom. Remember, most of your time will go to the little one. So make space for yourself and interest

I started watching your channel for nails. Congratulations on Cameron! My daughter had her baby Leo on December 10 and I am sure she can relate to some of what you are going through. Good for you taking a little time for yourself. I am sure your parents are enjoying spending whatever time they can get with their grandson. I know I am enjoying spending time with mine.

Our daughter is 17 months old and my brain is still not functioning properly 😅 so happy for you all! Fresh manis still make me feel put together! I’m currently on a little nail break from getting a gel manicure at a salon where they drilled a little too much. Currently rehabbing with some sweet almond oil! ❤I also had a c-section and was bummed too but at the end of the day, our babies are here healthy and happy!
I’ve heard the brain never fully functions again! 🤪 And nail breaks are clutch! Those drills can wreak so much havoc. 😩 The c section was a bummer, but I had a really great experience with it so no complaints here. Like you said, everyone is happy & healthy - all that matters! 🙏🏼🩵

Where you able to get a pedicure before your baby came and where those the longest nails on your toes you have had before your pedicure?
I just want to say it's completely normal for you not to have alot of breast milk when you first have a baby and one drop of colostrum goes a long way! You just have to keep letting them latch on and try to breastfeed that helps bring in the milk ❤ and for your next baby if you have a c section try to do skin to skin as soon as you can and let the baby come to the nipple
Those beginning days were tough. We definitely got him as much colostrum as we could! So happy that the milk is now flowing haha.
