Thank you for this Lisa. One comment: I want to remind folks that if your air fryer has a nonstick coating, be sure to use silicone or nylon utensils, to help prevent scratching of your coating.

@@ilonkaklay4433 As bad as this sounds - Teflon is inert - it cannot be digested nor can it be absorbed by the body -so it just passes through.

I got one in March this year and have not even turned my large oven on once, and as mine was a Ninja speedi I try to avoid using my induction hob as well. I went to our Caravan and the first time didn’t take the ninja with me , but I was so lost without it, and now take it on holiday with me. I’ve also bought a smaller one, to give me more space 😂 you could say I’m absolutely hooked on Airfryers

    • @nickimontie

    • @gerriebell2128

For me it depends on what I’m cooking. I like to do bacon with no paper, so the grease drips down into the bottom. Then I can pour the grease from the bottom basket and save it. Bacon grease is good for greasing a baking dish, and instead of butter in a frying pan (use sparingly). Yes you do need to wash the basket pieces, but it’s really not that bad.

    • @judytinker3392

Saving a little grease is good for making country gravy for biscuits and gravy because I like bacon grease instead of sausage.
