Sam- in the next cookbook, can you add QR codes that take you to the video of you making the recipe? Or playlists for ingredients- like chili crunch and all the stuff you do with it?
@@anniessmokingpot Yeah I've had it for a bit but have only recently have I discovered just how good it can cook some of my favorite foods. And it makes it a little bit healthier for a lot of those meals.
@Turkey Man definitely.... anything you can deep fry, you can air fry and with a little oil mister you won't know the difference... except maybe how less greasy your fingers are lol..I hope you'll check out my channel 😀 Annie
Sam is such a riot. Maybe I’m a sadist, but I always rewatch the parts when he miscalculates how hot something is when he pops it into his mouth (6:53) maybe 4-5 times. This is my happy place. Thanks for the great vids and recipes. Love you guys.
Using the air fryer during the summer is the best because you don't have to heat up the oven! Living in SoCal, it makes a world of difference. Thank you, Sam & Co, for keeping us cool out in the IE! ❤❤❤
Doesn't heat up the kitchen either. Even small spaces, like caravans or camping trailers, don't heat up. They're great. Must be kept clean inside though, or they'll smoke as prior fats burn off.
My sister bought me an air fryer 4 years ago and to this day, I probably use it more than anything else! One of the best gifts I've ever received! Awesome recipe Sam
Everything I've cooked in this unit has come out great ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB ! Everything tastes so good. Some of the recipes I've changed a little to improve the taste. For instance, for french fries which call for no oil, I spray them with olive oil and season them with salt and pepper. They come out great! It makes the best toast I have ever eaten. The recipe I use calls for lightly buttering both sides of the bread. It calls for cooking at 400 degrees for 5 minutes on one side and then 2 minutes on the other side. This time has a lot to do with the kind of bread you are using...so keep an eye on it. Also, the fans in this Ninja are a lot stronger than other air fryers. So lay a metal spoon or something on the bread to keep it from flying around. It's a little extra work to use your Ninja as a toaster but it is worth it!
Love the channel guys. Sam, the relationship you have with your sons is amazing. Kudos to you and your (shy) wife. Job well done. So happy your adding more Air Fryer recipes. I'd be lost (and hungry) without my AF. Cooking re-heating everything comes out as good AF!
I made both the meatballs and the chicken thighs today. The only change I made is that I used roasted garlic paste and the results were amazing! Sam, thanks again for the awesome recipes, you've made me look like a genius in the kitchen.
Wow ! It all looks great, but that whole chicken looks amazing. We're new to the whole Air Fryer thing, so all recipes are appreciated. BTW, we cook a lot of your other recipes. Love the videos, you guys are fantastic.
We tried the whole air fryer chicken last night... and wow! It needed a little more time due to the size, but the skin was perfectly flavored and so crisp!!!! Amazing Sam!
love your videos~ i personally use my air fryer for 75% of our cooking. best kitchen appliance ever imho... the short cooking time, the power you save, win, win...
I just made the meatballs. Man were they fantastic. Hubby doesn't like spicy so I used regular sesame oil. We had it over rice with broccoli sauteed in butter, garlic and soy sauce. Would love more air fryer recipes.
There actually were several devices toothpaste companies tried out in the 80s and 90s, but turns out they added cost with little benefit and customers didn't want them. We had a Mentadent brand one for a while when I was growing up.
Is the editing off on this? You talk about schnitzel and then make the marinated chicken thighs. And then you say you're going to make the marinated meatballs, but make the schnitzel after the marinated chicken thighs.
Sam you are such an inspiration. I removed the dust off my air fryer (that I never use - guilty) and am ready to rock and roll with a whole chicken. Here goes .... Thanks for the nudge ... An hour and a half later ... OMG, best chicken ever :) The air fryer has found a new place on my kitchen counter. I must check on other air fryer recipes you have done. "Your the Man!"
If I had to choose between my air fryer and my dishwasher, I would chose my air fryer. I love it. I use it everyday. I've even made Yorkshire puddings in it. Add some sesame seeds to the schnitzel panko crumbs. So yummy.
We do the grape meathballs (beef) every year and potluck for xmas. 1 jar of grape jelly, 2 jars of chili sauce, and a bag of kirkland meatballs. Takes seconds to throw together and ready to eat by lunch slowcooking at the pot luck.
SAM!! I love watching you cook; you literally cook everything. I can’t wait till we get to end to see you taste your food, it looks amazing! Could you make dumplings? :)
Dude, I'm from Tijuana in baja , love what you share with us, long time fan since Chanel 6 in san Diego. A recipe that i share with friends it's the left over pizza omelet and the Portobello mushrooms 🍄 burgers. I watch this with my son who's 12 years old and he always say's time let's try and do that.
I have an air fryer but it isn't as big as yours, I do love it tho' and do all sorts of things in it. Pork chops are good, sausages too, chicken thighs. What really hit me tho' was that grape jelly and chili sauce. Now we don't get grape jelly in Ireland so I am going to try a rich blackcurrant jelly and see how that turns out. ~Drools ~ lol ...Thanks for the ideas :)
If I can make a chicken thigh look like it came off the grill that you did in this video, then the air fryer is literally my hero and Godsend. I'll be trying it tomorrow!
Made the chicken meat balls. Came out great. I did make one change. After I had them all laid out on the sheet pan I thought, why do I want to cram all these into my air fryer and in batches, when I can just leave them on the sheet pan and throw into my conventional oven? Which I did. 400º F for 20 min. Spread sauce over them with basting brush and switched to broiler mode for a couple of minutes. Great recipe.
Hey guys , I know this is an old video but I was wondering if you could try the Japanese technique of velveting chicken? I use the cornstarch and mirin way and it is MARVELOUS, but you could also use oil. I would love to see you try it out! Thanks a bunch, lots of love! 🤗
I try to take it out of the fridge 2 hours ahead of time. (my fridge is set at 34 degrees) For a 5 lb chicken, I cook it for 50 minutes in a well preheated 360 air fryer, turn, and it then takes about 10 minutes to finish. I take mine out when the breast is about 160, because it will reach 165 as it rests. If it's a 5 lb chicken, I never have to temp it anymore. If it's a 4 lb, I subtract 10 from the first 50 minutes or add 10 if it's a 6 lb chicken, etc. ( I find that 5 lb chickens or smaller work the best and taste better,... cook more evenly) AF makes the best whole chicken ever! Better than oven, better than grill! I do dry brine my chickens for a day or two in fridge if I'm on top of things, and adding some baking soda to the salt helps to crisp up the skin. Instead of rubbing the chicken with oil, I mix avocado oil with all the spices ( powdered garlic, smoked Paprika, Pepper, Basil Mexican Oregano and thyme) and slather that on the chicken. Have not added brown sugar but will try that! (no salt in that mixture if dry brined) At 360, a 5 lb chick is 10 minutes per lb, so adjust accordingly to the weight and of course your air fryer might be different. Happy AF-ing, Ya'll!
My wife brought an air fryer into our marriage a few years ago and albeit there are good uses for it so far it’s not my go to cooking device. All 4 of these recipes look amazing! We’re going to give our stepchild of cooking devices a new chance now.
I have the Flip Ninja AF I may just need to get the basket AF style just to do a whole checkin like that or cut the chicken up to get it in flat to fit in my Ninja But love it STCG. 🎉
Thank you for confirming that cooking a whole chicken in the Air Fryer is possible.. I have done it many times! It comes out super juicy and tender! Love your style! Please don't change a thing!

I probably been making chicken tenders almost twice a week ever since buying our air fryer, they come out so damn good and grease free, its insane that literally it is a miniature conventional oven lol
Love how the editing are all out of order in terms of what is cooked. Schnitzel - cooks thighs. Time for meatballs - already been done. Great stuff! Professionally unprofessional and wouldn't want it any other way
I just bought an AF (sorry, couldn't resist) yesterday and it's due to arrive in a couple of days, so I am looking forward to trying some of these recipes. Thank you. (I was gonna buy a toaster oven too, but then I searched to see if I can use the AF to toast bagels; good news, yes you can, so I don't need the toaster oven).
Would you consider doing an episode on just making sauces that you can store and use for different things. I watched the episode you did a couple of years ago on spicy garlic fried chicken and that sauce is fantastic. I always have a squeezy bottle of it in the fridge and put it on loads of stuff.
Love Sam. I've been a fan for about 2 years...watching each new video and going back to the archive to see those I've missed. But it's clear that you can't take the Canada out of the Canadian. This is an really an awesome idea.
Very cool idea indeed.
Or you can learn something for your survival😂
Or describe how to wipe an arse
@Sam give him a contract!
Yes!! More air fryer recipes PLEASE!
@YaNKee R ..I couldn't live without my air fryer, that's for sure lol..I have some air fryer recipes on my channel if you are interested :-)

I do believe whomever was editing may have been partaking in edibles. Next up….schnitzel, but it wasn’t schnitzel. Was it good? 😂
"and now we make meatballs" didn't we just see the meatballs? Glad it wasn't just me
Must’ve been a little on the high side while editing. 😂
I was about to comment the same thing 😃.
Lmfao thank you, I’ve been drinking for a while and thought I may have misheard what he said 😝😂

Spamming his own channel, though this leads to something random.
This reads suspiciously like an advert bot.

I made both the meatballs and the chicken thighs today. The only change I made is that I used roasted garlic paste and the results were amazing! Sam, thanks again for the awesome recipes, you've made me look like a genius in the kitchen.

Hi Robert,
Max is Sam’s son, Chance is not :)
F Max he’s mad corny b
Max gonna get butt hurt with this one for sure
Max needs to stop talking. He's not funny and slows the pace of the videos.
You never said how big the whole chicken was.
The authenticity is what makes this show great… NO MAX he should not write a script

A whole chicken in the airfryer! Wow 🤯 I LIKE IT!
My wife approves of the chili crunch on the chicken thighs. We loved it! Thanks Sam
butter under the chickens's skin is a game changer. Also filling the chicken's inside with herbs and oranges or lemons adds to the taste
Outstanding! My only question is did you have to continuously open the “AF” 😅 to check the temperature of the chicken?
jelly and BBQ sauce my mom has used for 50 yrs for little smokies
Chicken thighs + Air Fryer = DELICIOUSNESS FOREVER!
Thank you so much for the air fryer recipes! I can't wait to try all of these! Cutting down on red meat has been super hard. ❤️

For those wondering where Max got that tune from for the intro, it's the song Lost in Your Iyes... by AyEl The Great.
Love cooking a whole chicken in my Air Fryer, so juicy!! More AF recipes please.

Grape Jelly, Sriracha & a drizzle of sesame oil.
I dip my seared tuna in it. Delicious!
One good neutral oil for the chicken is canola. Has a mild flavor with a high smoke point.
Just bought a air fryer last week and needed recipes beyond prepackaged things and here we are lol
Sam!! Love air fryer recipes!!! Keep cooking!!! LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!! Always my chill out time to watch your foodies videos 🎉🎉🎉🎉

I just tried chili crunch for the first time and I love it, I'm definitely going to be experimenting with in the future.
Just flipped this bird!! My house is smelling amazing rn. Merry Christmas, yall!!
As I eat my air fried chicken I’m pumped for new recipes

Thanks for sharing this. I want to make all of these. Hope I can find this video again. Thanks again. Love your videos! 👍👍👍
What kind of spray are you using on the chicken cutlet flipping it in the air fryer covered with mushrooms???
OMG! You literally cooked it perfect!
lets make meatballs, proceeds to make schnitzel. lets make schnitzel; proceeds to make chicken thighs... whats going on today guys?
First time viewer. Love you! My kind of cooking. Subscribed! Ty
I have the Flip Ninja AF
I may just need to get the basket AF style just to do a whole checkin like that or cut the chicken up to get it in flat to fit in my Ninja
But love it STCG. 🎉
I love this channel. Thank you for existing. I am saving money to build a great backyard kitchen like yours. I'm a fan.
Thank you for confirming that cooking a whole chicken in the Air Fryer is possible.. I have done it many times! It comes out super juicy and tender! Love your style! Please don't change a thing!
Asian style sauces are so simple and easy to change up for different dishes but so incredible
This looks good AF 😂
Can you add the little metal trays you used for battering the chicken to your essentials link?
Briljant editing boys. So busy with the bleeps, who cares about continuity.
"Next up, a schnitzel!" cut to the thighs
"We got meatballs to make" cut to the schnitzel
Enjoyable as always.
I was going to say the same WTF?

Great recipe's, what brand Air fryer do you use. Thanks
Looks like a Power Air Fryer XL
I swear by the jelly and Chilli sause been doing it for almost 30 years for Christmas every year
I was surprised you used beef stock/broth and not chicken.
I plan to make the schnitzel and whole chicken!
EXCUSE ME!!
Continuity error at 8:37! The chicken meatballs have already been presented in the video.
I'm a subscriber. Love the content! 😀
I recommend bone out, skin on chicken thighs for the Schnitzel . MUCH Cheaper and far better flavor.
3:55 Luminor Chrono. Very nice.
I always wondered what's the actual difference between the air "frier" and a ventilated oven.
Thank you so much for the air fryer videos.
i have been watching you for over 2 years and i never once wondered if you were using a script
Love, love, love chicken!
Chicken is now on the menu all weekend long. Ty fir the recipe videos
Its on the menu 80% of the time at our house lol
Sam, which air fryer is your favorite? I’m looking for one.
Love how the editing are all out of order in terms of what is cooked. Schnitzel - cooks thighs. Time for meatballs - already been done. Great stuff! Professionally unprofessional and wouldn't want it any other way
That looks good, oh and by the way your new book is awesome every one should have one for the summer!!!
Japanese Curry with chicken cutlets please
I love this series of chicken recipes.... thanks for the air-fryer version of your amazing cooking :)
