I have a build with a 3400G in a NR200P for a general purpose pc. I love it. I have a build with a 6900XT but it is full ATX. No cramming it in a small case.
It has been shown in multiple video reviews that having bottom exhaust fans helps with cpu temp a lot and helps with gpu temps as well. Takes some of the heat away from gpu decreasing heat going into the AIO... also I believe u can fit a 25mm fan on the bottom more towards the front and a slim fan in the back. Please give it a try as I would like to how it will work with a strix 3080. I have the strix 3080ti and am thinking of getting an nr200p max.
Yes, the Machines and More channel checked a few configs and found that top in / bottom out and bottom in / top out were the best, depending on whether you value cpu cooling or gpu cooling. I believe he used 1x25mm and 1x15mm in the floor.
But I don't remember if he tested without fans, as Christopher did here.
It is way better with the bottom fans. I am running a AMD 5900x CPU and a Radeon 6900 GPU and the temps are within thermal norms. If you flip the AIO fans to intake and the bottom fans to exhaust that also helps a few more degrees with GPU temps. I used 2 120mmx15mm Arctic Slim p12 fans.

Any possibility of comparing the regular nr200 to the max variant in terms of cooling performance and noise?
I have space on the side panel to fixate 2 fans the same size as the radiator fan, its because my 3080 fe takes two slot and is vertically mounted, Idk how much it will help with temps if I do add fans there tho
Hello, I have a question about the lian li o11 dynamic, not the XL version but the normal version of lian li o11 dynamic. To my question you can do a 2021 test with lian li o11 dynamic what the best fan configuration is for AIO CPU cooling and AIO GPU cooling I have a graphics card that is cooled with an AIO and a CPU that is also cooled with an AIO, and now I ask myself what is the best fan configuration for it. I can't find anything about it on the internet.

Whats the rpm threshold that the noctua 15mm fans start getting noisy at?
were there any leaks with the aio? or is that really rare in this day and age?
I agree fully with your testing, I put mine through the same -- i9 11th gen -- 32 gig 4000- EVGA 3080 and it was so close with a margin of error that it just was not worth it. The standard as is from Cooler Master really worked the best overall. I think CM did test this... oddly they had it right out of the box.
You can replace the CM 140mm fans with Noctua: ua-cam.com/video/vF1KbEKcD4k/v-deo.html
im puzzled why the smaller Noctua fans in this video make that much noise when compared to the noise levels in the link.
The lower fans need to be gapped from the grill. That should alleviate the additional noise. And a few washers and you are away

I do know that if you set the AIO fans to intake and the bottom fans to exhaust the GPU temps come down even further. I guess if you are more worried about a little noise and do not mind thermal throttling then by all means just leave the two bottom fans out. I am running a AMD 5900x CPU and a Radeon 6900 GPU and the temps are insane without the bottom fans.

What about making the 280 aio do intake fans?
That helps with GPU Temps.

Probably, bottom fans helps CPU liquid cooling. I wanna istall NOT-thin fans(e.g. 120mm×25mm).
Bottom to Top Airflow seems not to be considered for GPU cooling.
what camera do you use?
Sony a1 with a 50mm f1.2
So what happens if you set the top AIO as an intake as well? I am having some issue with the CPU thermal throttling when launching multiple game instances, but the GPU temperature is moderate

@@willdrunkenstein5367 Nice. I have the exact same setup, and I just put it in the NR200P Max this weekend.
So the issue is 13th Gen pull so much power out of the box. You need to undervolt the cpu. And that can change depending on your motherboard.
Mine was thermal throttling too, in both my mid tower and this one. But after undervolting, no issues.
What motherboard do you have?

@@UnboundClown Also I just checked the NR200P Max. The top AIO fans come preinstalled in the orientation that pushes air down into the case. Cooling is already optimized
Put top in exhaust and bottom in exhaust for best overall thermals for vented side panel for GPU and CPU.
How has dust been, it's been 11 months for you in this config. Do you mind opening your side panel and having a look? I was thinking of doing the same but my friends warned me that negative pressure will cause air to come in though the cracks in the case

@@yaboirairai no issues with the dust or temps. Running a 7800x3D with a 4070 Super on a 1440 monitor.
I loved my Audi but got rid of it years ago. I have a 2023 Camry Hybrid now for a commuter/family car. Honestly I am sold on Toyota from here on out. I get 51-56 MPG and it’s a great comfortable ride. I commute almost 80 miles 5x a week.
I am really worried about the cpu temps...the only thing that makes me rethink of buying it:(
Use the mesh panel side panel, keep the AIO fans exhausting and put 2 12x15 bottom fans also exhausting. This is the best setup for cooling on this case. I have a 12700k and a 3090 with stock fan curves and the highest my CPU hits is 75, gpu highest is about 65.
@@drew651 might be year late to ask, but im planning to build 13700k with this case, is it bad idea? Many people said 13700k not suitable for itx build (unless custom liquid build)
I would assume it's fine. My 12700k never gets above low 70's not sure how much hotter the 13700k runs.
What gpu are you running?
