Love the bikes , I had a 2017 r6 but sadly was stolen a few months ago, I’ve now just purchased a 2021 r6 , over the moon to get another one of these works of art👌enjoy!!!
I’m looking forward to buying my first bike maybe by the end of the year and it’s a R6. Just a few questions 1.) edited cause you answered my question in this video 😊 2.) how much do you pay to fill it up? Does octane matter? 3.) how many miles do these bike usually last to? 4.) will it make a decent bike for commuting to work and driving around a busy city like Miami? 5.) anything particular habits of this bike? Like, do you HAVE TO get the rpm’s up to move? 6.) I’m 5,9. Would I be able to flat foot it? Thanks again brother, love the channel and look forward to seeing more videos 🤜🤛
hey man, do you mind telling me how much you paid? i’m looking at getting that gen r6, wondering if 8k is a bad price for 2016 with 4000 miles. also has some ugly mods and fairings on it
I would start with the R3 or R7. Those bikes would be better suited for a beginner. I had to earn this bike after 20 years of riding my friend. Best of luck!
Hello my new motorcycle brethren i just got an r6 2016 and i dont know hownto tell if its has abs on it and yes i am new to the yamaha r6 and got it off owner that didnt know if it had one either so i am asking if you guys know if it has it ,its pretty much stock besides the toast exaust on it but other then that i think it is mostly stock
beautiful bike my man! I love my R6 and never regret my purchase! Ride Safe brother!!
how much should i expect to pay for one?
@@emncali look it up on KBB. it all depends on the state you live in, what condition, and how low the person is willing to come down from asking price
@@emncaliman now in days a pretty penny for these older bikes. Some are even going for close to new bikes like the Zx6r
@@bigjerm210ify yep i only see this third-gen r6 continuing to increase in value as time goes on.
That’s epic that you sold the R7 for an old R6. R7 is a good bike, but it’s no inline 4 replacement. Stay safe out there!

I hope you let her run Run...R6 a track beast unleashed on the skreets!
Hope your enjoying the bike man! Stay safe out there! This is Ben’s Little brother btw lol
ive seen multiple youtubers get rid of their r7 for an r6. seems like the r7 is not scratching the same itch.
Raising the clip ons? I'd leave as they are myself. Lovely bike though.
i never knew they still did them headlights, i thought they stopped after 2014.
