Hello my new motorcycle brethren i just got an r6 2016 and i dont know hownto tell if its has abs on it and yes i am new to the yamaha r6 and got it off owner that didnt know if it had one either so i am asking if you guys know if it has it ,its pretty much stock besides the toast exaust on it but other then that i think it is mostly stock

Just a few questions 1.) edited cause you answered my question in this video 😊 2.) how much do you pay to fill it up? Does octane matter? 3.) how many miles do these bike usually last to? 4.) will it make a decent bike for commuting to work and driving around a busy city like Miami? 5.) anything particular habits of this bike? Cool video. Trying to decide between e the two bikes. I love the looks of sports bikes and truly want the r3 but am afraid the riding position will hurt my back. Never rode a motorcycle before. Want comfort and good looks. On to pt 2.

I have just purchased a 2018 model , for the mountains of Colorado , it is the perfect bike .

It's weird how Yamaha put LED turn signals on the MT-03 but not the R3...

I have a Versys 650, too, and it’s a great, comfortable ride. Riding position is excellent and yes-perfectly blocks the wind. Seat is nice n’ comfy. Power is linear and it does build nicely and get a little exciting. Tops out with me on it (200 lbs) at about 125+. It is a sport tourer, though; definitely not a dual sport. I got some Scorpion 2’s on it and that turned riding on gravel from a “riding on marbles” experience to “doable,” but heed this advice: you can carefully (not entirely enjoyably) ride fire roads, but do not take this bike off road. That will be a disaster if you do.

What’s the trick to put the second plastic lock in for the turn signals? The hole looks waaay to small

It’s a very underestimated bike. Especially as a beginner bike.

Recently dropped my bike and the stock turn signal cracked the upper right fairing. I just installed the Halo GTR turn signal and it fits perfectly with my R7.
