Hey chef, another great video. Be careful burning pressure treated fence posts, as they're often treated with arsenic and other chemicals.

I’m so glad you chose not to try the river crossing, the current looked much to dangerous and I don’t want to loose my new friend and camp buddy. Stay safe John and try and always have Tim or another camp buddy just Incase you get into a bit of trouble

Hi Chef: As a new subscriber; it occurs to me that a pair of stilts should be a standard part of your kit. That is quite an inventive hammock set up . One of the bush craft essentials is adaptability & you certainly show that Thanks Brian 76

You should turn the duck against the roll of your foil. Not sure how to better say it, but turning it one way will eventually make the juices drain out, while the other way will keep them in there.

Read some good ideas about getting across the river: stilts, build a bridge, boat, zip line, ferry raft with ropes, etc. Would make an EPIC video. I tried to scope out the debris village on Google maps. I know I will never get much detail. But it's fun to try to find the camp site on satellite view. Can you steer me in the right direction ? The country side is so beautiful !

It may well be, easy to check that on google I suppose. I never did enjoy the Army Issue woolly pully myself, but it was all we had. So much more quality kit out there now and not too costly either. Carlisle should splash out on something lighter and warmer and easier to keep clean, he would certainly get his money's worth out of it!
