    That's hard core alone in that weather. Seriously I would have left or not gone at all. I would only do that is I were with someone and it started raining I might then stay but alone and knowing it's going to be like that is cool and crazy... Great job my friend.

    Great vid as normal, can you recommend some tape to patch my tarp, flying sparks and a wet hammock.. keep up the great work..

  • @indigodragon7129
    @indigodragon7129 6 років тому +1

    Idea, modify a few good tarps and place brass eyelets along edges abd a few down the center. Use water proof large washers with a metal loop to atrach a cord that you can use on the center brass eyelets on the tarps so tarps will hold their shape ounce brass eyelets around the edges have bern threaded by paracord and the tarps filled with leaves dirt to form insulated bags that you can lay over a support structure. Then when your done camping pull out the paracord empty the tarps and pack them away. A. reusable earth bag shelter system? 😯😊😉

    You my friend are living the dream,I'm so jealous of you,now on to question time could you put a roof on that shelter or not and how about cutting down that tree at the back of the tarp and make the shelter bigger and a wall there,I love the shelter but would be safer.isnt nature wonderful all that looks dead and then just like magic it all starts to bloom.you are by far the best camper I've seen,loving it .tell your new job you can only work mon.to fri.lol stay safe from Scotland.

    Couldn’t you use some logs to build a sort of A frame over the fire to protect it from the rain a bit? I know once you get a good fire going it takes quite a heavy rain to put it out tho. Great video cheers.

    All that weight must be killing. Wild garlic is all edible. Leaves, flowers and roots so if you know where it's growing you can access it in the winter when it's underground.

    You need to win the lottery mate. Travel the UK wild camping at your leisure, more than a life time required to camp in every forest, valley, stream, river, wilderness areas etc. If it is your passion. Lol, read the SAS books too, forever telling the novice campfire mob to watch which stones they pick for the campfire. Stuff the lottery. Make millions out of your own survival book. Then off you go, go professional camping. :)
