There he is: THE KID! THE MYTH! THE LEGEND! Welcome back and this Michigan old lady will watch FOR SURE! May God bless you so much on this trip!
Thanks for the support! God bless you too!
I watch a lot of youtube brushcrafters, they all go nuts after a couple days outside. I get the feeling your the kind of person who can last in the wilderness for a long time hahaha. Love the vids!
that's why you follow him and he's main channel 😂
I find after the first few days is when I really settle in and get comfortable. I would love to do a 30 or 40 day outing in the future. Thanks for tuning in!!
I am stoked for this series! Thank you.
I hope you enjoy!!
Sounds like it is going to be an excellent and informative series sir! Given how much I enjoyed your Tarp Camp series, really looking forward to this one! Hope you enjoyed your time off, and glad to see you uploading again.
The time off was nice, thanks. Was able to get good and ready for the winter so now I can focus on filming. I'm happy to be back now. Hope you enjoy the series! Happy trails.

Looking forward to watching these… your videos prove to be relaxing and almost educational on how you do what you do… thanks for sharing ☺
Looking forward to the series.
I'm really looking forward to this series! A lot of bushcraft videos are solo overnighters. Filming a longer duration of wilderness living will be nice to watch. I think that's also where mentality and knowledge really shines through is the longer term stays.
Really looking forward to it!
Looking forward to more videos. This should be fun
Already looking forward to this very much! Especially when you can't do any of this where I live its always nice to see someone who is living the life :D.
It would be interesting to see how you deal with hunting, trapping or wildlife in general.
That sounds like a great idea for a video series, I'm really looking forward to following along

👍👍
OMG there's a sitting Bigfoot right behind you! On the right side of you in the brown bush
I've had wood stoves in shelters I've built and lived in but never had one in a tent.
A canvas tent with a wood stove is certainly an enjoyable experience! Thanks for watching.
A few years ago I remember when you did a series where you were doing some trapping out of a cabin, do you still do that?
Sir, what is your opinion on freeze dried (prepper) foods that can last up to 25 years?...have you tried any of them and do you think it's a good idea to stock up on prepper food in the big city were you can't hunt your food?
Thanks.
💝♥️⭐❤️💖💙💗😇❣️

A rocket stove would be waaay easier and just as efficient
Perhaps. I suppose it would depend on the design. A lot of rocket stoves rely on small diameter fuel...which typically results in needing to constantly add fuel. My little wood stove was able to accept 16" logs up to 4"-5" in diameter. When properly loaded up I was able to get 4 hour burns that would keep my tent plenty warm. Only having to add wood once throughout the night was very nice. All in all I am very pleased with how well my little stove did.
If you're "Kusk Bushcraft", shouldn't this be "The Life of a Bushman" series?
Bushman/woodsman.... same same haha.
@@KuskBushcraft Impossible. There is no bush in the woods and no woods in the bush. That's why they're two different designations. I've never heard an Australian or South African refer to themselves as a woodsman or a North American or European refer to themselves as bushment.
Hope your wife is ok with it?
I thought this would be enjoyable - until I saw the gun!
And bloody traps as well - shameful !
Looking forward to this series.
Looking forward to this!
