- It is great to be back out in the wilderness! I managed to get out and spend a night sleeping under my tarp. My camp was simple but comfortable. I cooked up a couple delicious meals and thoroughly enjoyed my time camping. In this episode I share a few camping tips and tricks that will make camping easier and more comfortable.

If everyone would act in and with nature as respectful as you the world would be a much better place. Thanks for sharing and greetings from Germany.
I was just thinking that we've not seen you for a good while and popped over your channel to ask if you'd be back on soon only to find you have a new video just released ! Nice to see you back on the screen again , enjoyed this one. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Yes. I think so
Weird same with me!
When camping there is nothing better than a fire to boost morale. I love sitting and watching the flames dance I love this stuff 😁
great view - i love the way you show a 'clean up' although with you nothing really to clean. Really looking forward to 2023 autumn/winter series from you
Winding down for the day and what better way to relax than by viewing your adventure. So wonderful and peaceful. Thank you for sharing!
As always, I enjoy your videos. Adding the narrative and bucking the trend for the no talk is refreshing. Your audio is wonderful, capturing the nature sounds really adds to the videos. Thanks again!
Awesome film, thank you. So glad to see you're back.
It seems nothing unusual, but I liked this video!

Finally back 👍🏻 My son and I love watching your videos together. Afterwards we'll talk about what we have seen and as time is going by he's frequently asking me if there's a new video from the man in the woods. We're looking forward to your next one 😊 Greetings from Germany.
Peaceful , birds singing , the sound of the brook nearby , very enjoyable 😁
Happy to see you back, posting! Take care
In camp - and sometimes at home too - I’ll add a gaggle of cut up veggies to cook in with the rice. Onions, garlic, sweet pepper, etc. Jerky goes well in there too. “Camp site pilaf”!

So nice to see you back. Never thought about using progressively larger feather sticks to get a fire started. Neat idea! Thanks!

Hi Riley! 👋🏻😀 Where were you in this video? Your Great Aunt Nancy told us about you being on You Tube. Great job! Your Grandpa would be so immensely proud of you. Such a terrible shame he is not able to accompany you in person on a trip or two. Keep up the awesome work Riley. Take care and keep on trekking. Happy trails to you!
Masterful bushcraft. A joy to watch.

I missed filming it all and sharing it. The trapline series will be back this fall on my other channel 'Kusk Wild'. Thank you for the support!
Good to see ya back man! Looking forward to the new schedule
He’s back!!
Great to see some new videos Riley! I love your filming style Ave narration. It reminds me alot of the "Alone in the Wilderness " with Dick Prenoke. The guy who went to Alaska and built his own cabin. Keep it up bud. Hope to see more soon 😀
Glad to see you back out.
great to see you again mate, thanks for the video
Ayyy he's back! Glad to have you homie!
👍👍Excellent Ryley good to see you 👍👍🤞✌👌🙏😊
Thank you for tuning in!
I like your simple narrative .
I actually want to try building a tent like this whenever my mama and i get our own yard with a Forest. Mom and i do enjoy the outdoors in the summer. Especially fall.
What a relaxing and enjoyable video. Its good to see you post a video as it has been 3-4 months I think since your last. With todays crazy world, you never know whats going on with people. So - its great to see another one of your adventures again. Love them all.
Good to see you back, and into the wilderness again.
Hey Riley, it's been a long time. Glad you are looking well and I hope life has been treating you well. Great edit I've always enjoyed them, love your back to basics way of bushcraft and you can make the simplest of food look really yummy. Hopefully life will let you do another one soon. All the best my friend Pete.
Hermosos paisajes amigo. Saludos desde México. 😎🤘🏼
Very glad to see you back. Yours is the best channel....
Nice to see you again in the forest my friend. Kind regards.

I really enjoy this, very calming and cozy ❤
What a great campout! So peaceful and relaxing. Loved the setup!
'bannock'....good Scottish food staple!
Nice to see you back.
great to see you again. i'm happy you finally found some time to get away and bring us along
Riley! Glad to see you back, always love your videos. They're always great to unwind with. At the very least it's always good to know that you're fine, life is busy everyone can understand that for sure, but I am always happy to see your uploads.
I love nature and I love camping outdoors it feels so good to be alone
Any time out in the woods is a good time
Nice one Riley. Just camping alone in the woods, keeping it simple with as little kit as possible is the most satisfying thing in the world. That message definitely comes across in your videos and I so relate to that!
Oh and I got a couple of old canvas duffel bags that I have been pondering about how to convert into a backpack. You did a nice job of yours! Awesome idea ditching the closing clip with carry strap for a simpler and lighter solution. That soda pop can opening lid is brilliant🙂
Thanks for the kind words. I quite like the new pack. It's not really meant for backpacking but after a few modifications it's a pleasure to pack around. I really like that all my gear fits inside of it and I don't need to strap gear to the outside like I used to with my old pack.
The can tab was meant to be a temporary solution while I tested the pack.. but it's working quite well and I see no need to replace it. Keep it simple I suppose.
Thanks again for taking the time to watch and comment. See you in the next one!
Another great adventure Riley! Thank you for taking me along on your journey and learn many new tricks and wisdom for when I go back out deep in the woods. I just hope one day that you will be able to follow your nose over to my channel and be able to see what type of adventures and trouble I will get into next. All the best to you my brother and always remember to follow your nose!🍁🦫
Hey brother!.....loved these recent posts......been unwell with high blood pressure...getting it under control.....having your latest videos to watch helps more than you’d know.....I appreciate the effort you put in dude.....also, did you get some new recording equipment? The audio when you collect your firewood on this is incredible!....great to see you back man 👍🏻
Glad to hear you're enjoying them. I wish you good health my friend!
I record my audio using a zoom h1n recorder. Thank you for your kind words. Happy trails!
The narrated ones are the best. Great video
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for the feedback.
Another refreshing and inspiring installment. Time well spent watching learn something every time
Welcome back Ryley!
A very relaxing and peaceful video 👍
Thank you for tuning in!
Riley! Always nice to hear from you, glad you're still able to upload! You are an amazing storyteller!
Do you already know which shots to take or do you simply film a lot of angles and put it together in post? Most people could barely be able to survive if they had your pack and yet you have time to film your experience and are mindful of what you are trying to show your viewers.
Thank you for your kind words.
I just film everything on the fly. Set up my camera and try to capture interesting shots. If I want different angles I will move my camera around. Nothing's really planned before hand. The more I do it the better my filming has become. I still have lots to improve upon but that's part of the process. Happy trails!
Yeeesssss!!! I knew today was gonna be a good day. Glad to see you again brother. Just wanted to say you've inspired me to start recording my excursions on the bike to share with everyone. Im not as well versed as you nor do i delve as deep into the woods as you but i still think it could be interesting content from a different outdoor lovers perspective.
Welcome back my friend ! Hopefully you are able to share more adventures soon... Best !
Bro without narration videos were the best love ur voice man but still ogs ❤️❤️❤️
Great filming. 👍
This is the best alert I’ve had on my phone all day, so chuffed 😊
Thanks for uploading, your content is genuinely some of the most enjoyable available, you’re truly an artist.
Right, I’m gonna shut up and start watching… peace 😊
Great video, thoroughly enjoyed it, very serene, and love the way you look after the area when packing away, massive respect for that. Thanks again, really enjoyed 👍🏻

Yup, some new gear I'm trying out. So far I am enjoying everything. The new pack is really nice. I like it a lot more than the Kelty Redwing I used to use.
