Almond Chocolate Ganache Tart 🥧🍫

    Ingredients
    * 6 tbsp Almond slivers
    * ¾ cup sugar
    * 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
    * ½ tsp kosher salt
    * 1 cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces
    * 250g bittersweet chocolate
    * 400ml heavy cream
    * 1 tsp vanilla extract
    Directions
    1. Preheat oven to 175°C.
    2. In a food processor, pulse almonds until finely ground.
    3. Add sugar, flour and salt, pulse until combined.
    4. Add butter, pulsing until coarse crumbs form with no large butter lumps.
    5. Add the dough to an 11-inch tart pan with a removable bottom.
    6. Using a measuring cup, evenly press dough into the bottom and up the sides of pan.
    7. Bake in center of oven for 20min, until golden brown and firm.
    8. Allow to cool completely.
    9. Chop the chocolate coarsely.
    10. Add the chocolate in a large mixing bowl.
    11. In a small saucepan, bring cream to a boil.
    12. Pour hot cream over chocolate. Stir until smooth and creamy in texture.
    13. Mix in vanilla.
    14. Pour chocolate mixture into center of cooled tart shell.
    15. Fridge for 1 hour to set.
    16. Slice & enjoy!
