    You are the only one who details the top hat configuration and the rubber piece removal. Every other Eibach Stage 1 install skips this important information. Thanks for the video!

    I can't believe the amount of rust already on this new trucks suspension parts, I have a 17 year old Tacoma in the pacific northwest and no where near this amount of rust is on my truck.
    I did Old Man Emu springs and shocks, they worked great on the old truck, good info if I buy a newer truck.

    I did a similar job with my 2009 Hyundai Sonata.
    Instead of using the old front shock hardware, just get one piece of new hardware from Toyota and pre assembled the new front shock and pop it in on the day of installation.

    I seriously want to know. IS THERE A IMPROVEMENT on the ride quality off road compared to the 3rd gen Tacoma TRD OR stock suspension. I want something for temporary use for some occasional off road (not to aggressive) until I can get what I really want ( fox 2.5 with resi.)

    NEVER tighten the lower shock bolt unless the suspension is on the round and loaded. If you do not do this it WILL stress out the lower bushing and cause it to wear prematurely.

    • @KEVING1TIME
      @KEVING1TIME 5 років тому +4

      depends on how much weight you are putting in the rear. I have a 2.5 front and 1" block in the rear from Eibach because I've added about 300lbs. but now I am getting a full pack leaf from deaver because I am adding about 600lbs total to the rear. So I should be leveled and more comfy with all that weight. But if you aren't adding any weight to the rear this kit is fine and will level you out to get rid of the rake. You can see my truck on my instagram shred_n_tread
