Wow those steel furnaces sure smelt a lot of ghost plastic and ghost copper.
The boilers even burn iron to produce iron steam to make iron power. Very important since certain processes are incompatible with the normal coal steam and coal power

A good reason not to do this is that 1. It doesn't actually improve the gameplay(unless you would add multi story belts like in dyson sphere program) and 2. This would greatly limit the size of the factory
