I'm totally new to factorio, never played it but love to watch let's plays now and then - and now I was like, ooooh my OCD is flaring up because those things are diagonal... oooooh now I see why... YES I approve too haha
I played this video while laying in bed. My computer somehow walked in from another room and slapped me saying "dont even try it" before leaving. I do not know how your computer put up with such an amazing and huge build.
Well tbh the actual starter base was completed at the 40s mark and completely replaced by the new one. So yeah, that's not really a starter base since they didn't start with it.
Trains in Voxel tycoon: hmm, which station should I make now? If I do it now at 100 meters, then later it will be difficult to rebuild it at 200-250 meters. Trains in Factorio: so, I need to travel the distance from France to New York. I need a train lengh from France to New York
Awesome video! You did an excellent job putting it all together! I'm curious, when you made the lubricant for the electric engine units. What did you do with the light oil and petroleum gas from the refineries? Where did you come up with the furnace lay out? I watched the sequel to this one hoping for a close up. 👍
Nice game! One thing though, I do not like the principle of wind turbines as it eliminates completely the need to manage energy grids and energy needs, as well as it removes the main source of pollution early game (steam turbines energy production). I had to find creative solutions to manage it (I usually play in Railworld maps) while here you can build semi-autonomous outposts for mining that you can forget about until resources run out.
Peaceful mode, Scarf :P How did you get the island style map, I've tried and tried but I can never get anything decent, some areas it looks good but in others it just is like swamp islands.
I approve those diagonal smelters 👍

"Yup, checks out"
also the shape of his train intersection at 4:29 haha
@@MrDanaris omg *this* type of engineering 💀
I was thinking the same thing. Of course it's a German...!

this isn't huge but it is amazing!
haha
Quit making excuses, download some more ram and get that shit cookin
I enjoyed watching this more than committing playing it.
i take that as a compliment xD
This has to be the greatest single factorio video, time-lapse or not, I've ever seen. The editting, the sheer size of it all, the aesthetic. Unreal.
I'M SORRY, HOW LONG IS THAT TRAIN!?
160 Waggons and 8 Locs (2x)
solid 3 inches
@@TvTv-sj4csmore like “3 inches of disk space needed to store this monstrosity”
Эммм, извините, какой длинны поезд ?
- Да !! =)))

This is one of the best best time-lapses I've ever seen, well done...
Thank you
You call this a STARTER BASE?! It would be my end game base ._.
the pros are playing with us :)
they seem like to be modest.
@@MCHamii and they're german

megabasers are built different, im a overhauler i just play mods or dlc
4:43 AoE 2 dock noise was the best part
Indeed
5:46 placing signals on that thing was surely a great experience
It is old intersection from different enginner :D But yea, coming up it with and actually building it for the first time must have been something :D
Reupload, because of music claim
Dude, this is the greatest thing I've seen in factorio.....i don't think i closed my jaw the entire video....amazing!!
MsGamer47: "Starter Base Complete"
me: "welp better get back to cooking my spaghetti"
that phase 2 train jumpscare actually startled me because i have this video playing on the side
The "starting base" is 10 times my final base...
Watching this video made me want to play Factorio, it's worse than a job...
That was magical how you captured both the rate of progress accelerating and the march toward higher levels of organization.
Bro just called me a bad player for 8 minutes straight.
Beautiful.
Oh boy welcome back, i really missed this timelapses
Im glad you enjoy my work
Sehr schön. Einfach schön anzusehen. 🙂
I love the creative use of the FFF soundtrack, one of the best songs Factorio has shown us so far!
you are the first that recognize the song :D
The giant factory at 5:38 looks like the underside of a CPU to me.
4:32 ah yes, this must be the autobahn :D
stunning work, I tip my hat to the sheer will needed to see it through
Very great, It was nice to watch, the only thing I missed was showing production statistics and power consumption at the end
Потрясающий проект , мне понравились многие решения , но я ещё не играл с подобными модами ..

Крутая работа!
Great editing.
i love the smelter setup and those pipes look amazing
I love your build style. thanks for sharing
main bus, trains, then go crazy with trains for mines, smelters and ever bigger bases
I think this dude can actually, casually take over the world.
The most sane Factorio player
krass das war so geil anzugucken meine güte so schön
Something about the big open green field is unsettling

Nice video, really enjoyable to watch. You have a beautiful building-style 👍
I hasn't realized that steam moves with the wind!
**Untitled - Factorio: Space Age OST**
I looked for that everywhere, I can't seem to find it
When I google it, I get back to this video.

incredible i love your films
I see this video and I can’t help but think of the drastic growth instinct that lives in us Homo sapiens.
absolutely love it hats off great base
This is jaw-droppingly amazing!
Oh my gosh, welcome back! Perhaps you had been honing your skills for a couple of years? Cause that diagonal smelters into the bus is pretty creative
This is great, you deserve more subs ❤
Respect for that 87 Go
Der Dude dreht vollkommen durch ^^ xD
Wunderbar! Das war eine cooles video!
This is just beautiful, I loved it. Instant subscription.
2:27 I'm not sure what's worse, that i recognized that rhythm, or that i was disappointed that i didn't get stick bugged
Msgamer47, einfach eine Legende.
Its like the things i want to make on factorio, giant ass railways with no city block format but "organize" somehow
I never complete bases like that beacuse I am lazy but I always have the idea and I can say that even if I failed is not on city block format
Superb! Very creative.
nem conhecia e nunca joguei !!! mas achei o video incrivel deu até vontade de jogar :D
THIS is why the bugs attack... they know the fate of their planet.

We have a lot of the same mods but I am excited to try the ones i learned about from this vid! As well as trying Giant Continents
phase 1 : larger than any base I've ever built.
The Beach resort at the end is kinda cute
i have never seen a base THIS BIG and a VERY LONG TRAIN.
Love the editing for Phase 2!
ok, imma need a 5000 episode series on this like yesterday lol
I don't really know much about Factorio, just Satisfactory, but I know this is an amazing video.
The more I watch others play factorio the weirder I feel for making my bus out of undergrounds.
Great video !
As a fellow german i can relate to those train lenghts XD
very cool video, thanks
Wie viele Ressourcen fasste auf deinem Spielstand ein Patch? 100 millionen? 😄
Curves must have been added since i last played
nach 70 stunden ist dann die Starterbase fertig...
joa sounds reasonable
Master piece, great game from Czech Republic.
echt gelungen Respekt !!!
Really entertaining video style
I envy people who can make such stuff. I can barley focus enough to make a base that even needs trains.
Nice editing
Immernoch ein cooles Video
is this man crazy?
Insanely good well done
WoW Wonderful WORK
Absolutely wild
Amazing work!!
What's the song at 0:52?
When u play Factorio you realize just how much supply and demand is… I like it when he deforests and area! Hahaha just a blink n it’s gone!
Das letzte Bild hat mich an Sim City auf dem SNES erinnert :)
Nicely done. Those railway intersections are really cool. What mods are you using for this playthrough?
THATS YOUR STARTER BASE?
what is that smelter setup
Now do it with Biters Hostility ON. :D
Otherwise, great work!
Jesus christ
I busted a gut reading that comment that was too perfect
Shit, u make me wanna play factorio again.
rad video!
I would kill for exact seed and settings of this run...
Great base and timelapse)
Thats cool! How did you record this timelapse tho? Beczuse built-in function does not allow you to change the camera position
1:00 whats that weird angled shit ur building? plz explain?

This is amazing but the diagonal smelters made me unreasonably upset
