I would’ve loved if at the last few seconds a little construction drone popped out and started repairing the tank, because we all know that happens the moment you slow down in a 99% HP tank.
Hm. It should be more like "Warning! Biters!" vs "Warning, biters!" or possibly "Warning; biters!" vs "Warning, biters!" The comma makes it so that you are addressing the Biters, like how it's supposed to be "Hi, Jack." Though, yes, I do fully agree that punctuation use is changing-for the worse, in my opinion. Continuing this tangent, "warning biters" should actually mean biters that are used for warning-i.e. "warning" is an adjective there. Interestingly, that does have the scary implication that all of these biters were only warning biters and there are far more dangerous ones which would be used if this warning were not heeded.
A short film of the "story" of Factorio done in this style would be so cool. I don't mean like a movie length but even just a 10-15 min short of the crash, basic starting setup and then end on the engineer discovering they aren't alone on the planet
i absolutely love how insanely realistic everything is rendered and then comes a horde of cartoonish looking biters xD (nice work on the animation tho)
This is absolutely *fantastic!* I love the little details that I actually got to catch after watching it a second time, like just barely being able to see the Artillery swivel to firing position and the barrels glowing red hot after firing, and all those coordinates slinging by the corner of the screen that I completely didn't realize were *all the artillery cannons getting their firing coordinates* and even just in the couple seconds it's on screen over 150 cannons are getting targeting lined up. And even though there's no voice or even any sound from the tank, that slow turn at the end as the main cannon of the tank goes back to a neutral position, I can tell the Engineer in there is counting their blessings that they managed to get within Artillery range before the swarm got to them first. It might only be a minute long, but this is a story all Factorio Engineers know well if they've beaten the game even once.

Every tank tech have a few lines about the character line of thinking developing the thank.... The last Upgrade is completely broken and the description only says "EXTINCTION TIME". 3 years since I uploaded the lastest version and i still wouldnt change a bit.
One of my favorite things about this game is how quickly the existence of Biters goes from War to Pest Control and back again in just a little technology or evolution.
Yeah that feeling of power when you build your first tank, fill it with amo and rocket fuel and you start fucking obliterating every single biter nest a bit too close to your liking is truly one of my favorite part of this game ...
It's even more amazing when you realize that all this firepower was made by one engineer. In the game it feels ordinary. but when you see it in 3D it's a completely different feeling. Music, lighting, composition. Everything is perfectly chosen and only enhances this effect. This is art

The artillery ripple firing just like they actually do was superb. Among all the other great things the sound design in Factorio is fantastic, and 2.0 only looks better.
Captures the feeling perfectly. that's exactly what it felt like in my game - i banked up 1500 artillery shots, placed lots of artillery guns down, all connected to a radar with an on/off circuit signal (used the skull signal because of course) and once they were ready, i toggled the switch - biter nests around my walls were pretty thick at the time, so it was glorious to watch it all get wiped out.
*Surviving Tallarn tanker is saved from pursuing tyranid horde by several krieger artillery battalions Circa M41, colorized* Warhammer jokes aside this animation is really cool and I hope to see more factorio animations.
Literally everything besides the biters is just about as good as it can be, only other nitpick is the extremely fast deceleration and turning of the tank but an excellent animation other than that with some gorgeous models for everything. My suggestion for possibly improving upon this glorious piece would be to de-synchronize the crawling animation of the biters and make them slightly darker or less reflective. Like everyone else here hopes, keep it up. You have the spark that few people do.

This vehicle is the result of combining a Gattling Tank, a Lasher Tank and a Dragon Tank carelessly.
It's even more amazing when you realize that all this firepower was made by one engineer. In the game it feels ordinary. but when you see it in 3D it's a completely different feeling. Music, lighting, composition. Everything is perfectly chosen and only enhances this effect. This is art
