You absolute madman of a genius! the whole narrative of building a city , evolving to build a powerful rocket to escape the meteor and leave the planet, instead of crash landing prior is such a nice touch amazing video
music has such a way of expressing images or evoking something especially here imagining if aliens were to witness humanity this is what they would witness. that tenacious industrial expansion, the drive to create and destroy and reshape a world to our needs like a machine.
I'm lost for words. Koyaanisqatsi is a film that genuinely made me cry. Using the soundtrack from the movie for a factorio video is a genius move. Excellent. Just excellent!
"If we dig precious things from the land, we will invite disaster." "Near the day of purification there will be cobwebs spun back and forth in the sky." "A container of ashes might one day be thrown from the sky, which could burn the land and boil the oceans."
If I could like the video a second time I would! You really have a great feeling for music and rhythm! By the way great pick, Phillip Glass is absolutely amazing!
I love this. I am currently building little "cities" using transport drones, but I wish they used a rail like system to transport things. These mods look fantastic together
Now that I saw the official space update, seeing your video makes me wanna have a sea update as well with boat transportation, probably ressources you can get only at seas (sand, minerals..) !probably in 10 years after space age update ahah
Wow. Truly amazing, the short story, the choice of music, the unique aesthetic of the base. Factorio on a different level. Thank you so much for sharing!
Instant sub. I used to watch your stuff back when you were active but thought you had quit. Hope you'll make some playthrough content too! I'd love to learn about some of your finer design choices.
You know what, with the proper map generation, i do believe that Factorio has a place for boats, not just little boats, not just medium boats or large boats. but GIANT TITANIC BOATS moving cargo across the vastness of the ocean. It would be a water world with new challenges, where bridges are not an option.

hey looks really cool. would it be possible to get your savegame? I have 500 hours in the game but I think I can learn a lot from you. Thanks
That... would be awesome as a FUE5 tour!
I have no idea what i just seen, but... I have a strange sudden desire to automate something
THE FACTORY MUST GROW!
we all do
THE FACTORY MUST GROW!
One of the most beautiful builds I’ve ever seen, the diagonal furnace stack is villainous though
It pours smelted copper faster... or I've been told.
That was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen about this game
HOLY FUCK, keep it up mate, that was wonderful.
This looks like someone made OpenTTD inside of Factorio.
Реально чувак, разве что в Factorio с поездами чуть полегче
That's a good mod idea actually...

Playing Koyaanisqatsi's soundtrack on a factorio video is * chef's kiss *
But can one build Pruitt-Igoe inside Factorio?!?
excellent choice, excellent fit - you love to see it
I know. I'm not even that into Factorio but the Koyaanisqatsi soundtrack just makes everything explode.
Factoriosqatsi
"Impressive. Most impressive." - Darth Vader
I screamed out loud when i saw the diagonal furnace array
The astroid wasnt even something they programmed into the game, he simply just took so long playing on this one world that the code evolved over time
Koyaanisqatsi's soundtrack was the perfect choice so little people sleep on how good that film is
You might like the movie “baraka” too
Uh...tell me you're 21 or younger without telling me i guess.
@@ciscornBIG 😂 thanks I've never been called younger but always older

amazing video
The goal of Factorio is to build a rocket, to leave the planet
.. you never beat the game, did you?
@@rrai1999 I think he meant that instead of crash landing, the civilisation was already there and now building the rocket is the means of escape
Absolutely outstanding. So well put together.
the video is the best short film that came out this year. if this doesn't get at least 10 oskas then i'm very disappointed with holliwood.
superb. the anxious dread was perfectly communicated
Fun fact, the composer for this song also did the ending song for The Simpsons.
music has such a way of expressing images or evoking something especially here imagining if aliens were to witness humanity this is what they would witness. that tenacious industrial expansion, the drive to create and destroy and reshape a world to our needs like a machine.
The Koyaanisqatsi vibes really hit in this one

The indomitable spirit of human engineering
Chef’s kiss for background music. Koyaanisqatsi is PERFECT for this. Subscribed. Thanks for the giggle!

That was surreal and beautiful. I love the editing and how it pairs with the music.
This with the Koyaanisqatsi soundtrack gave me goosebumps.
the build, the editing, the music... awesome work!
You are really good.
And Koyaanisqatsi in the end is so straight to the point.
Really well done. Rarely say that.
This was really well done. I particularly loved the synchronization between the music and inserters at 2:05. :)
This is one of the most impressive Factorio videos I've ever seen.
finnally found what i alwways wnated to achieve in Factorio.. this style of perfection! OMGGGGGG MAN! INSANE
Not what I expected whatsoever. It's more than I expected.
There's something very 1970s scifi about the editing, great job.
1:46 Nice syncing !
That tilted sqaure though... I like have to go build that now

Beautiful, love the music and video editing, just perfect!
Wish the factorio devs would work on a city builder game after the dlc
I would love the idea of a Megacity with Factorio graphics and stable fps no matter how big the city will be
Now that I saw the official space update, seeing your video makes me wanna have a sea update as well with boat transportation, probably ressources you can get only at seas (sand, minerals..) !probably in 10 years after space age update ahah
I would never dare to play Factorio like this.
It is damn impressive any would.
Who knew Philip Glass would be perfect for Factorio?
quite possibly the most beautiful thing i have set my eyes upon
bro what a piece of art this video
loved how u used koyaanisqatsi here
props to u
Ive only seen one other man try a Factorio city and it broke him, cant wait to see this
You won the internet, now go outside.
1:46 so beautiful)
You can never go wrong with Phillip Glass. Einstein on the Beach is my go-to album when playing Factorio.
Great video. I love the vehicles and trains.
Koyaaniskatsi and Factorio in one. I'm in love!
This scratched an itch i thought i never had.
Wow. Truly amazing, the short story, the choice of music, the unique aesthetic of the base. Factorio on a different level. Thank you so much for sharing!
Koyaanisqatsi! Awesome film and soundtrack
That angled furnace array is egregious, dear lord man
The reference to that weird documentary of the city (whose song I can't remember) is beautiful
Never played Factorio but Satisfactory and this was beautiful.
Impressive Editing. Great Job!
That was really well done, great job! Seriously, very impressive!
The music rrminds me of thr scenes of horror and depravity in caligula
Das Video ist richtig gut gemacht, feier die dramatische Aufmachung dieser wunderschönen Stadt und der Zerstörung von Nauvis 💀🥒
What the fuck, give me moooore, all the money in the world to you who makes complexity out of entropy
It's perfect.
It's terrifying.
This reminds me of the movie Koyaanisqatsi!
Especially with the music, very nice.
It fits perfectly
Impressive. Made it a whole minute before seeing an active belt.
Combining it with Koyaanisqatsi is a great idea!
God this feels like a trailer for an expansion, not the new one but an even bigger one. jesus good shit man.
I just witnessed a full-fledged film "Mind blow emoji"
this has better story than any star wars crap these days
What a production quality, dude.
WOW very artistic and creative video. I LOVE IT!
ART !! absolute cinema.
Wow, that is absolutely brilliant! Great piece of work!
Music fits so well. What are we all doing with our lives? The madness of the modern age.
4:10 my whole world after playing with the True Nukes mod first time.
Awesome
Perfect montage with the music, which almost makes me want to play it
the game or the music? :)
This is what I imagine the engineer’s homeworld looks like

The ~~factory~~ city must grow.
Love the editing, love the music, but most of all I love the builds. This is like Factorio porn
VERY well made video, thank you.
music choice impeccable
This is absolute cinema
I see Factorio, I hear Philip Glass. Perfection!
Beautiful! Love those realistic vehicles
excellent music choice
what a cinematic experience
This feels like watching the beauty and horrors of the industrial revolution.
2:43 this is the coolest furnace setup i ve ever seen :D
thanks

In it's own unique way... unnerving as Magnasanti.
