Watching a comparatively-tiny light mech just *sprint* up to massive artillery units and just blip them out of existence in a blitz attack was _painful._ The Erlkönigs spent twelve years getting up that big dumb hill, get one kill, and then got blooped because no one told the Saxons that artillery can't defend itself at point-blank range.

I genuinely adore the design of the Frankia mechs and troops (the gas masks and bullet proof armor are amazing), but the little details are stellar as well. The soldier waving to the passing mech (god I wish that the Mech had honked its horn back), the Saxon mechs using the horns to indicate "Fortify here" and "Open fire," the painting on the Frankia supermerch, and the fact that as it started sliding you saw the mech lower its center of gravity so that it wouldn't tip over. You put a TON of effort into this, and I hope you know that at least one person noticed all these little details and humanizations!
I love how they used star wars AT-ST sfx for the frankia scout mechs. Also that pop up machine gun turret remains me of the pop up guns of the French Magino fortresses. Very well done

The 1920+ world is an interesting world that I wish more people knew about. The artist Jakub Rozalski has created an alternative universe that combines two of my favorite things, big ass mechs and world war one. I first learned about his art from the board game Scythe and thought it was a good blend of beautiful and hopeless. The Rise of Fenris expansion for the board game added a campaign that also expanded the lore of the universe, its story is basically just Nikola Tesla making mechs, giving this knowledge to the countries of Europa, and then the countries go to war with each other. This War caused Nikola Tesla to go mad and he closed the factory where he made all his inventions, now the nations of Europa fight for control of the factory and the nearby area. There is also a secret organization that is doing evil shenanigans that are the main baddies of the game but that is getting into spoiler territory. Anyways Iron Harvest is also a pretty good game, the story is good, the characters are neat, and the different game modes give the game a crap tone of replay value. I don't know why I'm yapping about 1920+, I guess I'm just a major fan of it and wished more people knew about it lol
