At minute 15 they had a question on screen about swollen legs but Dr Berry was still talking about the previous Q and Neisha inadvertently clicked it again and they skipped the question! One thing I found out about that at Keto Con -- I took a mineral test and my sodium to potassium level was off. I needed to add more potassium in order to fix that. Ratio was .26 and should be between .45-.75 so if I up the potassium that ratio starts adjusting to proper proportions.

I have cerebral palsy I utilize a wheelchair for mobility. I have also been on the keto/carnivore diet for a coming on almost a year now, and I’ve noticed huge differences in some of the symptoms related to my cerebral palsy. Less tremors and spasticity seems to be better and I’ve noticed a big difference, especially in my vision, so yes, I think a carnivore or keto can help hugely at least in my experience with different types of brain injuries. Of course I’m not a doctor it’s just my opinion and my own experience speak to your healthcare, professional.

On strict carnivore for several years, my ankles began to swell and B12 solved the problem. This happened twice and that was the only thing that solved the problem. After 8 years carnivore, I no longer need extra B12.

Is B12 over the counter? Or Rx

    • @elag.198
      @elag.198 Рік тому +2

@Kathy Gale Over the counter. There are several types. Methyl is the most bio available. Hydroxy is standard in much of the world. Cyanocobalamin is the cheapest so of course standard in the U.S. Andenosyl is less stable and less common. Methyl is the best as far as bioavailability. When choosing folate, Methyl folate is also the most bioavailable. Sometimes, you need supplements. Hopefully, over time carnivore reduces the need. I took Methyl, hydroxy, and adenosyl at the time that I needed it.

Thank you Neisha and Dr Berry you are so knowledgeable and informative, love you both. I had no insurance when I was sent to a wonderful surgeon in Orlando they ran so many tests for cancer, they ran one more which was positive for ovarian cancer. My surgeon was amazing, all the nurses loved him. He removed a foot size tumor and everything else which could, the tumor contained it all. I am carnivore and Ketovore with some dairy. My body only wants big juicy burgers and eggs at this phase of healing and only grass fed, there is a difference in taste, real salt and butter. I made meat egg and butter wraps for my burgers. Delicious

Just a big thank you for so much great information. My husband and I are around 50 and have been doing a gradual journey from keto to now more like ketovore over the last two months. He is so not wanting any of the food substitutes, but I'm still tempted by some of the keto recipes out there. It's so good to be able to tweak our diet as needed. I've had RA for over 30 years, so I may end up being mostly carnivore to try to heal. In the meantime it's all about the journey. As a side benefit I've gone from 193 to 175 lbs and he has gone from 219 to 207 so far. I think I want to start weighing only once a month because it has been a little up and down. That can be discouraging with my long history of "dieting".

Make sure you are getting enough water, salt, and electrolytes. You could also be dumping oxalates depending on what you used to eat. Sometimes taking in a very small bit of oxalates in weak tea or other food can cause the body to ease the dumping of that is what is causing the aches. Best of luck to you!

You are dumping oxalates, this is a very good thing and will pass, your body is in the process of healing. If you ate a lot of liptens weight loss will be slow until they have gone down. Look them both up on the Internet, there are others being cleared as well. Plants and vegetables are full of natural toxins which make us ill. Botany 101

I watched a Dr. Berg 2020 video once on that topic. The notes I took for that are these "You have antibodies attacking your thyroid, keeping the thyroid inflammed causing it to be depressed. SO, what to do. He'd switch to Synthroid, synthetic T4. and Thyrophin PMG is thyroid extract without the hormones. He'd take a tablet or a half of one before bed. Over 1-2 months to deplete the ANTIBODIES that are attacking your thyroid. The antibodies get fooled and go attack the decoy pill that is in your stomach. The goal is to deplete the antibody reserve to decrease the inflammation around your thyroid so it can be allowed to work."

there is a supplement for the protein n- acetyl cysteine, NAC, that helps your body recomposition, but if you like a slow and easy (free) method, some short, 1-3 day fasts every now and then, will increase the growth hormone you release late in your sleep cycle and; increase autophagy.

Hey doctor can I got a question not too long ago about 8 or nine months ago I started dealing with this stomach thing I mean I was hurting bad and have been since then obviously my doctor had his head up his butt but I went to the hospital to duisburg times here lately and I had to pretty much harass them to do blood work and it ended up that it was h-pylori so what's my doctor do instead of having a scope or anything like that done to see what really is going on he puts Beyond 1315 mg of antibiotics a day for 40 days but obviously at the end of them antibiotics cuz they wouldn't write one that h-pylori comes back I start looking and find out that mastic gum help and it has tremendously help but I don't know where my blood pressure started going really high and I started feeling little pains in my heart and shortness of breath and stuff like that I know that your gallbladder can affect that and I know that your food can affect everything this is not the life I want to live on 36 and I also have three children to raise by myself right now the only thing I know to do is just strictly start eating meat that was the Best Buy stomach belt is when I ate that move meeting eggs I hope you see this and I hope you can reply give me a little guidance

I learned today my A1c is 12! I’ve been carnivor’ish mostly keto - trying for about 3 mos. Today the PA-c I just started to see gave me a prescription of Farxiga - after reading the side effects, Im terrified to take it. What can I do and is there something else to help me get that A1c down fast?

Go strict carnivore until you heal completely, however long that takes. Then start reintroducing things like dairy if you can tolerate that. Beef, butter, bacon and water. Your body and glucose will thank you.

      Don’t forget the eggs!
      Beef butter bacon eggs water
You will probably need electrolytes so pay attention to his videos. Study Dr Berry’s videos.
Bingeing on them will take the scales from your eyes. Pun intended 😂
Be very strict because you have a HEALTH goal. Measure your waist, hips, arms and thighs and toss the dumb scale in a closet until you have been eating a proper human diet for 6 months.
When you shop or think about your favorite addictive foods remind yourself they are POISON. If others choose to commit suicide that is their choice, you are trying to optimize your health.
Please set your goal as HEALTHY ME!!
PS the weight will adjust itself as your body needs.
I’ve changed my eating 20 months ago following Dr Berrys advice and have maintained my 40 pound weight loss effortlessly.
Signed, a former plant based, calorie restricted, low fat, yo-yo dieting BREAD addict (recovering) I am also 68 and only walk for recreation.
My trips to the store are now shorter and sweeter as I browse for meat sales or butcher mark downs. I’ve also began to mutter poison out loud as I pass the displays of chemicals masquerading as food. It is truly SAD.
Standard American Diet is really the Sadly Addictive Diet😢😢
Best wishes on your health journey, I’ve added you to my prayer list.
