- Imagine if you had to live with different versions of yourself in order to survive.
That's what Jan Dolski has to do in order to survive on a harsh distant planet in his mobile base. He has to create alternate versions of himself with altered pasts and different skills in order to survive.
The Alters is a unique sci-fi adventure game from 11 bit Studios (Frostpunk & This war of mine) coming this year!

A lot of people seem to forget what studio's making this game. 11 Bit are all about forcing you into difficult decisions with no easy answer for the sake of the group. Before this they made Frostpunk and This War of Mine, two games where one mistake could kill people you care about and you're forced into immoral choices for survival.
Yeah it's Great! This one looks Great Too!
It must be really easy to have a bunch of NPCs that are all basically the same guy with different hairdos and facial hair.
They better make each Jan actually relatable.
such a great idea
Genuinely clicked thos not knowing what it was but quickly realizing ive actually seen the original trailer. My interest is certainly piqued, best of luck in it's development
The game does seem to have a very interesting premise. Hope the final product lives up to the teaser.
interesting, but turns out to be a different game with different gameplay values that the first trailer lead me to believe. there it felt like its a mysterie how there can be so many variations of the same guy and none of them seem to realize that
Bro this looks so sick
There aint no damn way this gets released in 2024, it looks SO good
not going to lie, i was expecting the player character to take out one of his problematic alters in the trailer, like in the starfield trailer.
Space Clone SIMS?
Soooo cool
"Extremely difficult to keep everyone happy" wasn't something to look forward to, just sounded annoying and frustrating to have to be dealing with someone's bitching all the time. Cool concept overall but all that dealing with everyone's issues while maintaining the base just isn't for me.
Play it on ez mode, the moods won't matter as much then I bet.
That's 11bit for ya. You take a compelling, good looking base sim and then add a ton of stress, moral ambiguity and guilt.
Thought this was a gameplay trailer 😴😴😴
Sounds like a cool concept smothered by unnecessary complication. Arguing with my own clones who all have different personalities? Fuck that. That's not a selling point, that's a hassle. Hard to imagine a good story coming out of that.
I liked the idea that you working with a AU of yourself but the fact that they're clone kinda defeat the AU purposes? Like they are not really AU, just clones with false memories?
