when hauling a boat from the ramp always place your truck in 4X4 if you have a 4x4 to prevent the truck from rolling into the water when the rear wheel slip this way will prevent your front wheel from spinning unlike when on 2-wheel rear drive (parking brake only applies on rear wheels).
The central junction block, being underwater, will not let the BCM release the brake interlock solenoid. Flat spotted rear tires are the least of that truck’s problems.
